Open for an air conditioned interactive experience on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. Beautiful park, not much for kids to do, but fairly relaxed on a cool Friday fall afternoon. Restrooms: Public restrooms on other side of city park, his, hers, and family Picnic area: Several nearby picnic tables under shaded trees, there is also a very large pavilion
Great place for the kids to jump out. The train station is finishing up some restoration but do not let that scare you off. The gazebo is well kept in a great place for photos for a formal location or an informal quick pic. There is a splash pad during the summer times that is open till 8 o’clock . There is lots of parking. Most of the area is handicap accessible. There are great restaurants like EveryBellie And great places to shop like Grannie’s Korner.
Such a cute little area in Old Tomball. Took the kiddos out here to check the train. Large green space was perfect, kids ran around and there's a bunch of cute restaurants around.
It is clean and peaceful, it shows you a bit of historic american, with a very entertaining train for kids to get on. There are trees everywhere and food across the street. I can see someone bring a date here. They have a large gazebo where you can sit on the benches and eat . FYI they are not always open.

Great location. Plenty of benches, but due to COVID19 bring your own chair since they do not sanitize benches. Grown trees for full shade area. Parking is sometimes limited. 2 metal 'Raindeck' water sensors to turn on fountains; you have to use barefeet.
We travel full time in our RV and we visit beautiful places like Tomball Railroad Depot Plaza - great clean colorful and peaceful place to stop by to enjoy family time. Thank you.
Great place to come if you're into trains and have a lunch or picnic in the park.
Nice little history lesson. Worth taking a look. Also includes nice little park and great restaurants near by.
I'm a train guy bptrains on Instagram. This is a neat place. There's a layout in the caboose and a layout in the train depot. The depot is a museum with an attendant to answer questions. The grounds are clean. Worth the trip to see it.
