Camp Playland, the day camp with the away camp atmosphere, provides a safe, healthy, fun-filled summer of instruction for boys and girls ages 3 to 14.



"Camp Playland is a family owned and operated summer day camp for children ages 3-14. Door-to-door transportation is provided in Fairfield County. The 18 acre campus includes swimming pools, athletic fields, ropes courses, archery, go-karts, tennis, golf, boating, fishing, arts, science, gaga and more!"

Camp Playland is just magical! The counselors and directors go out of their way to make very child feel special and a part of the Playland family. The facilities are beautifully maintained, and wonderfully utilized. All staff members are attentive, considerate, and make your family feel so comfortable. The same kids return year after year, eagerly anticipating going back to Camp Playland to see their friends. If you want your child to have a true camp experience- full days of fun, skill building, and lasting friendships, this is the place for your family!
My kids are excited for another fun summer at Camp Playland! I am so impressed by the way Playland is run -- the thought and care that goes into every activity, their response to concerns, their passion for teaching kids in a fun and engaging way. My kids always come home with so many fun stories to share. Camp Playland does it all and is without question the best camp around.
Camp Playland is the best! Its caring staff and wonderfully talented and responsive leadership team always keep their eye on the ball. Their focus is always on the kids and making their experience the best possible one. It shows! My children never want to leave and all they talk about all summer is what they are doing at camp. Their lives are filled with smiles, laughter, and fun all summer. It's a miracle for parents; it's just pure magic for kids.
Camp Playland is the best! There are so many different activities for the kids to enjoy. The ratio of staff to campers, quality of the staff and professionalism of this camp makes it one of a kind. Everyday includes something new and exciting for campers to experience. If you are looking for your child to have a fun filled and memorable summer Camp Playland is the place to be!
I have been working at Camp Playland for the last 3 years and I'm returning for my 4th. I cannot say enough about the staff and my kids love the activities, the counselors and most of all the fun they have all summer long. We can't wait for Camp Playland to start each year. I highly recommend the camp, come join the fun!
We love Camp Playland of New Canaan. Both the camp and nursery school was a wonderful experience for our daughter. The teachers and counselors are all caring, nurturing, and very supportive. Its set in an outstanding camp ground, where kids can make lifetime memories. Best of all, its great that they are a family run organization that is entering into their 60th year. "Uncle" Gary and Steve are top notch, and we can't say enough good things about the rest of the staff. We look forward to enjoying Camp Playland for many years to come
We all love Camp Playland. Our son Mateo has been part of Camp Playland for three years. He looks forward to going back summer after summer. The director is great, the facilities are beautiful, the staff and teachers really take care of the children. if you are looking for a local summer experience for your children, Camp Playland is the way to go!
I have sent my girls to Camp Playland for five summers -- next summer will be my oldest daughter's sixth! This camp provides a huge variety of activities for kids the directors are always adding new things to the program. My kids love it so much they sing the Camp Playland theme song in the car at the top of their lungs on the way to camp each morning -- they can't wait for camp each day! As a mom, I appreciate that my girls are able to spend time outside with friends while being cared for in a safe, nurturing environment. The camp facilities are immaculate. I am super impressed with the directors' attention to detail, as it is very obvious that they are passionate about providing the best camp experience for every individual camper. Our family loves Camp Playland!!!
Camp Playland's facilities and staff are wonderful. There are so many activities available, and parents do not have to worry about driving their kids as there are bus routes to take advantage of as well! Some of my favorite things about Camp Playland include their mascot, Playland Boy, the new baseball diamond I hit a homerun recently!, and the slide at the pool! Situated in a beautiful part of New Canaan, the camp is a safe place for summer fun. A big shout out to Mr. Steven Bloom and his dog Lyle - they're the best!
I have been working for Camp Playland of New Canaan for the past two summers and I have loved absolutely every minute of it. Not only are the facilities beautiful for campers and staff, but the program is accommodating for everyone and has wonderful variety. It is super safe, instructional, and, of course, fun. I adore the atmosphere and wish I had known about this summer camp as a kid!
