Great Camp experience in place to send your kids for Camp experience. Lots of good activities for the kids. Good food and snacks for the campers.
This camp is better than we even expected. The kids are well cared for, every t type of fun activity that you can possibly imagine. The kids have lots of choices or they can choose to do or not to do things to try new things or to just stick to the things that they already know they love. Even the Infirmary made me feel safe one of my kids spend some time there over the summer and they took really great care of him. I can't say enough good things about this Camp my child will be going back this next summer!
I had the opportunity to work at this camp in the summer while a student at Ohio University. Hands down one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had. The history and the traditions of Camp Wise are amazing. I also met some of the best people. I couldn't imagine a better summer camp around!
We go once a year with our temple and have a great time. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Fun activities. I wish the paths were a little safer and the bees were out of control. Food was OK.
Was a counselor there and it is very strict. The management there is not the best and could use some work. Food is not that great as well. Seems more about making money than it is about the kids. Would not recommend sending any kids here. Kids were very fun to work with and amazing though.
Who can say enough about this camp ?? This is my daughters fourth or fifth? I’ve lost count year and each year, she grows more assured as a person, loyal to her relationships and unafraid to make a place for herself in the world. From what my daughter reports, there’s an immense amount of positive energy and camp spirit that goes into every activity. The counselors hail from different countries so there’s some cross- cultural seed planting. My daughter is biracial and feels at home. We appreciate the camp’s efforts of inclusivity and embrace of campers who come from diverse places and cultures. A camp with a Jewish and humanist mission here enacted faithfully for our youth and supported by our community. I highly recommend for an overnight camp experience.
