This is a large public hunting area. A mix of hard woods swamp and beaver ponds. Some ridges are fairly open but most everything else is very hard to navigate. In the thick nasty stuff you could get turned around good idea to have a compass . This used to be a good place for rabbits but I have hunted hard several times with a good beagle with no luck. Fair amount of deer tracks and droppings probably gets a lot of pressure.
Very good parking area. Good chunk of hardwoods. Lots of deer sign. All the Beech trees are either dead or blown over? For the first time I didn't see a Grey squirrel while bow hunting.
