Friendly small business. Good service. Enjoyed our Chevrolet passenger van rental.
Great customer Service with reliable Vehicles for our family Trip definitely recommending and would Rent again thank you Capps!
Staff is very helpful, but if you bring it back with a cracked windshield get ready to pay an additional $900, they will over price it.
Needing a van on time? Like delaying your travels due to low staffing? CAPPS is your place! Show up on a Saturday if you’d like to see how not run a retail business. This place added on two hours to my trip when we had a reservation, set up for a van, but walk ins were seen before us. Should have used U-Haul or any other service.
Great helpful staff and vehicles.
It was your basic run of the mill van with no extra frills, but I had an issue with the minor dents on the large passenger van. Plus, the alignment was off and it pulled to the right.
I just want to thank the fine gentlemen at Capps for their patients and kindness. Even though this review is not about their customer service concerning the business it is about their character. I love these guys. If I ever need to rent a van I am going there and no where else. This review is about how they helped me find my dog Casey. If it wasen't for them I may have not gotten her back. Casey's Return Elaine got a call about 5:30 from our vet telling us that someone found Casey. She got so emotional that she had to hand me the phone to get the details. The vet gave me the man's name and number. I called him. He works at Capps Truck and Van Rental located on Loop 410 between Airport and Wetmore Roads. He said she had been there a couple of days. They saw the collar and knew she belonged to someone. They gave her food and water, but she would not let them get close enough to see the tags. Eventually she warmed up to them so they could see the vets number. When we arrived, we could see the food and water they left for her. It was behind a row of pickup trucks. We did not see Casey. As we pulled up a bit further, we could see Casey lying between two trucks. At first we just saw a hind leg, but we knew it was her. When we got out of the car I yelled "Casey girl". She popped up and started running towards Elaine who had dropped to her knees. What followed was a lovefest that I cannot fully describe. Elaine was crying, Casey was jumping all over Elaine and I was overjoyed. I cannot thank those young men at Capps enough although tomorrow I'll give it a shot. When we got home, Elliott was glad to see her. They went running and chasing each other as if nothing ever happened. I know they will sleep good tonight. So will two people. Casey was gone one day shy of 2 weeks. She crossed Blanco, San Pedro, McCullough, and Airport Blvd. I don't know how she did it. I'm just thankful that she is alright. She does have a small scrape on one of her hind legs. I want to thank everyone for their prayers. That is what got her safely home. Also thank you for all your kind words of support and encouragement.
Was not impressed at all with CAPPS staff. Could not verify any dents or scratches before leaving because he had gone through and entire van was wet. Also was not given after hours drop off instructions.
I have rented from here quite a few times. They are quick, the vans are clean, and I have never had any problems with their vehicles.
If you have a relatively small amount of stuff to move, this is a great alternative to a small U-Haul truck! Much cheaper
