From the beginning, Jody was incredibly organized and coordinated everything we wanted. She brought many ideas to the table and helped us bring our wedding to life. The place is absolutely stunning, the food was delicious, it was clean, and the chandeliers & lighting were gorgeous. The servers were polite and professional, and all our guests were very happy! Overall our experience with Jody and her husband was genuinely professional. She is passionate about what she does, always available to answer questions & patient with us. We are truly grateful that we chose The Ballroom At Carey Lake for our big day. Thank you so much for everything Jody!
Jody and her team did an amazing job setting up and went above and beyond to make our dream reception possible. They were so easy to work with and were always there if we had any questions. The venue itself is very beautiful with lots of great options for photos. The ballroom is very spacious and beautiful as well. The food was delicious and we got so many compliments from our guests. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we highly recommend Ballroom at Carey Lake.
We got married in September and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From coordinating from the start to our big day Jodie helped make this such a great experience! If you are considering venues this one has great food, plenty of space, great organization, kind staff, and plenty of fantastic spots for photos! Jodie also helped us connect with a great DJ and photographer who both did a great job.
My husband, family and I can't say enough good things about The Ballroom at Carey Lake! Jody and her team went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly the way we wanted. From shoveling and salting a walkway so my husband and I could take pictures in the snow, to being so attentive during the reception, the staff were cheerful and helpful all day. Jody is great to work with and was always available to talk through any questions or concerns I had. She is a pro at what she does! The venue itself is beautiful and the bridal suite is awesome for getting ready in the morning the mimosas are a lovely touch! Food and drinks were wonderful and the decorations were exactly how we wanted them. We're so glad we chose this venue for our wedding. Thank you Jody and the staff at Carey Lake!!
My wife and I couldn't have been more pleased with just about everything at Carey Lake! Jody is an absolute gem to work with, going above and beyond to make sure the day went on without a hitch! The food, and drinks were absolutely amazing our guests couldn't stop talking about how good the food was, and the staff were extremely accommodating and attentive to any/all of our needs, down to making sure we had food and drinks at all times. Our vendors dj and photographers even raved about Carey Lake. The ceremony space and reception space were absolutely gorgeous at baseline, and needed very little extra decorations to make it our own. The bridal suite, guest bathrooms, and the rest of the event space was meticulously clean, beautiful decorated and comfortable all at the same time. Even with a winter wedding post snow storm we were able to use the beautiful outside areas for pictures as they were cleared of snow and ice. We really couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding day!!! #FLAWLESS
My husband and I, along with our families would like to thank Jody and her team at The Ballroom at Carey Lake for an absolutely phenomenal wedding day! Start to finish, the entire weekend was perfect. I could not have trusted Jody more with executing the day exactly as we planned. Our family and friends RAVED about the venue, the staff, the food etc... I cannot say enough! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! We heard several times " Best wedding ever!"
I do not have enough good things to say about Jody and the Ballroom at Carey Lake. The venue is gorgeous, with many different background options for pictures. The food was absolutely delicious and many of our guests said it was the best food at a wedding they've ever had. The bartender was so nice and very generous with all of our guests. Every single staff member was helpful and genuinely kind. Jody is an absolute gem. She knows what she's doing. She was extremely patient and quick to respond to all of our communications. She made the day absolutely perfect. 10/5 stars. I absolutely recommend having your wedding at The Ballroom.
The Ballroom At Carey Lake is a true hidden gem!! I cannot say enough great things about Jody, her team, the beautiful venue, and the overall experience we had. If you haven't visited yet, absolutely do so - and if you have - stop thinking about it and book it! To start, I was an extremely organized and detail oriented bride. This was worrisome to me as I knew exactly what I was hoping for. Jody welcomed my plans and ideas and her and her team were on point with me and my vision. They seriously nailed it! Jody was always available to answer any questions, offer ideas or suggestions, and was comforting with assurance of the day running smoothly. She did not disappoint! The food was great and the portions were perfect. I highly recommend attending the tasting event that is offered as well. We found it extremely helpful in choosing our meal choices, all the while seeing the venue set up with optional décor. Unlike most other venues, Jody kindly offers usage of her décor at no cost. This was a huge expense we no longer needed to budget for. The venue offered many other great features we loved as well such as: -The indoor and outdoor option for our ceremony. This was very comforting knowing that if the weather wasn't good, we still had the option of a beautiful ceremony venue inside. - Many beautiful areas/options for photographs. - Early entry so happy I did it - Bridal suite usage all vendors came to me - hair, make up, etc - Bathrooms both in the ballroom and near the entry. Sounds silly, but trust me, you'll appreciate it come the day! It was nice for proximity reasons and if you have several guests, handicapped guests, etc. At the end of the evening, Jody and her team had packed everything up for us which made our departure very smooth. The entire day was perfect and went more seamlessly than I ever could have expected. I sincerely mean it when I say Jody and her team went above and beyond and The Ballroom At Carey Lake will undoubtedly offer you the most beautiful and perfect wedding day! A most sincere and heartfelt thank you again to Jody and all of Carey Lake for making our special day so incredible perfect!
Our wedding was on 10/15/21 and we are so grateful we picked this spot for our wedding. They have their own parking, only have one wedding per day, it’s in a quiet and secluded area in the country with a stunning view of Carey lake, you can have the wedding and reception in the same location, the food was absolutely delicious and the owner- Jody was so easy to work with. We had prime rib, chicken and salmon at the wedding, we had so many guests compliment the food. The venue is also spacious so plenty of room for dancing. The fountain out front is a great backdrop for pics.
We had our reception at the Beautiful ballroom on August 27, 2021. Jody was amazing to work with! She was super easy to get a hold of and kept us informed about all of the new regulations as soon as they came about! She was able to answer all of our questions and helped us plan our perfect day! We had an apple themed wedding and we had asked if the bartender could make a caramel apple sangria and it was AMAZING! Overall recommend Carey Lake to anyone who is getting married in the Rochester, NY area!
