CHUCK from the Telegraph Rd store helped me find a new set of clubs today. After multiple shoulder, arm & knee surgeries, my body doesn’t work as it once did….OLD AGE! Chuck understood exactly why I was frustrated and set me up with lighter clubs; shaft weight & designed for women needing faster club head speed. I hit them so much better than my present clubs and also found a great $$$ deal too! I thrilled with my new clubs & highly recommend Carl’s Golfland…..BE SURE TO ASK FOR CHUCK!
Ordered a set of new clubs for my dad for his birthday. Was really excited to surprise him with the gift on the course! But the driver came damaged and the customer service team was not willing to replace it. With so many other places to buy golf clubs, customer service should be the top priority - will sadly not be ordering anything from here again.

Update. Received a call from Online Sales Manager Alec and he was very apologetic. Explained to me that if an error like this does happen they do overnight ship the correct clubs. He said he spoke with the team and made sure they were aware of the process. My review is strictly based on my online experience, never been to the store. Ordered a set of JPX Hot Metal Pro irons online because they had free 2 day shipping. I was sent the wrong set of clubs delivered on a Saturday. I spoke with customer service and asked them to send the correct set. For the inconvenience asked if they could do overnight shipping, so I could get Tuesday. They said no they could not do that. I looked on their online site for shipping options. They did have an overnight ship option. It was not even $5 more than the 2 day ship. Customer service anywhere else would have made it right. They cost me 4 days of my time waiting for the correct set. I also had to make a trip to UPS to return the wrong set.
Been coming here for equipment and practice for the past seven years since I moved out this way. I’ve been a dedicated patron of Carls, and only had positive interactions with staff and other golfers on-site. Unfortunately, that changed recently. I was out with a handful of other golfers in the short game area, everyone working on their game with a handful of complimentary practice balls generously provided by Carls. I was grabbing my balls off the green and another player had a couple of balls by my feet. I gently tapped them over to her and went back to the area I was hitting from. At this point, some random groundskeeper verbally harassed me regarding my actions. I was simply trying to help out another player working on their game. I didn’t want any trouble, and he was awkwardly aggressive, so I felt obligated to leave immediately. I notified the front desk staff of his inappropriate actions before departing. EDIT: Switching my review from three stars to four stars. Had an opportunity to speak with Casey over the phone regarding the situation. He apologized and stated that they would work to better train the irritable and uniformed employee to hopefully avoid future situations such as this one.
I purchased a golf bag that worked very well...for three months. Then, the stand started to fail. This was a Titleist bag, FYI. After researching some, I see it's a somewhat common issue. Titleist was no help, despite the bag being purchased new and only used for a few months. Carl's Golfland stepped up and helped me obtain a replacement. Their service, communication and desire to make things 'right' is very much appreciated. My future business will be going to them. Thanks again!
The staff here were friendly and very helpful. They helped fit my husband for new golf clubs & improve his swing in the process. Definitely would recommend for any golfer.
Replaced a grip today since it is free. The clerk charged me $5 for the grip. I told him l bought the grip long time ago. He asked me for a receipt. I said l don’t have it anymore. Then he checked my account history and found it. We both are seniors. I know sometimes people get stubborn when getting old. The thing is if l cheat, l would rather cheat on a $500 driver, instead of a $5 grip. I still likes the place, just next time l will check out with those young guys. I am sure they will believe an old man like me won’t cheat for a $5 grip.
