We were really impressed with this theater! Very clean with a friendly staff. GREAT prices! I honestly don't understand any bad reviews. The sound was great. The chairs were great. This is our first time visiting and some of the reviews made us feel like we were going to be sitting in chairs that were broken down. Honestly, the OTHER theater that is also in Concord has MANY broken down chairs that have recliner buttons that don't always work... and it feels grimy there! I never feel like the theaters there are properly cleaned. Bottom line, I've found a new theater... 5 minutes from my house. So glad we tried it out!

We always go to this theater and it’s always been great. However, we went today to see the first showing 1:15 of Meg 2: The Trench. The whole place was a mess!!! The concession stand looked like a hurricane had hit it. The counters were filthy and they were wet…everywhere! The floor behind the counter had popcorn all over, like they had a popcorn fight back there. The soda fountain leaked horribly when you tried to fill your cup wit soda. My hand and halfway up my arm was soaked and it sprayed all over my shirt while I tried to fill my cup. The butter flavoring for the popcorn was filthy. The theater # 6 wasn’t much better. The floor was sticky and had candy boxes and popcorn on it, not sure why since it was the first showing?? The bathrooms were awful, looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in days. When we got out of the movie, instead of cleaning up, the employees were all sitting around in the lobby doing nothing!!! I don’t know what happened to this place, maybe a new manager. Whatever the problem it needs to be resolved before they lose customers. We like this theater as it’s close to home, reasonably priced and, in the past, has always been well maintained. We will think twice before going back.

3 stars for now. I haven't been here in years since the pandemic. The last time I was here, the place was clean & amazing especially for it's very affordable price; that's why i love coming here. Anyhow, I went to watch "Talk to me" recently at 9pm and it was my first time being back and let me tell you "oh my goodness".....there was trash like napkins, candy wrappers & tortilla chips, popcorn, food and drinks spilled everywhere inside of the theater seats from the aisle floor to the seats themselves where the film was gonna be played. It was a mess. And strangely there were a lot of employees just hanging out and chilling but it was evident no one cleaned that theater. Don't get me wrong, I totally understand and i get it because i used to work at Edward's movie theater in CA and usually workers and employees are given 40 mins to an hour to clean the theater before the next showing but the first night of opening weekend of "Talk to me" at 9pm, that theater room playing that movie was not cleaned it was a mess.

It hasn't changed much in 30 years, and that's probably a good thing. Stadium seating, though, in most of the theaters. Ticket and concession prices are slightly cheaper than other theaters nearby. Definitely a good spot to catch a matinee.

Excellent “old school” theater! So you don’t care about Dolby Digital 5 million.1 surround sound in IMAX 7D? Then this is your theater! Great picture, great sound, and stadium seating to boot, without all the extra “tack-ons” that a more expensive theater might provide. Tickets are much more economical than those “fancy” theaters, and Carolina Mall Cinema is our go-to theater for new releases! Such a great theater with fantastic value.

I enjoyed the movie. Went on a Wednesday evening. The theater was almost empty. Their team greeted us when we arrived and directed us to a huge, extremely clean auditorium. The seat was very comfortable. Good sound system. I'm visiting from Chi-Town.

This theatre still has “old school” ticket prices! The facility is clean and the staff is kind. The only downer is that the price comes with “old school”movie seats. However, we’ll definitely frequent a few more times this summer!!

Got a good look at the emergency exits from the outside and there is nothing safe about it. The parking lot is not kept up. The women's restroom stall are way to small! Just one guy taking tickets and telling which theater you are in. I felt so bad for that poor guy. Place definitely needs remodeling bad.

The Barbie movie was amazing It was so good!!!! As far as the theater some of the seating needs some upgrading They were several chairs that needed repairs and the recliner chairs are really rigged out looking looks like we need an upgrade.

If you like a reclining heated chair then this is NOT your movie theater!! If you just want to sneak away and catch a quick movie before you get the kids then this may work! Or if you have been shopping and want to just have some down time before you go home, this could be a possibility!?! However if you are looking for comfort, in a relaxing chair, with great audio sound and effects then PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go somewhere else!!! This was my 1st AND LAST time going here. I am spoiled by spacious reclining seats at other theaters in the area and not willing to sacrifice that comfort for a theater that is close to home. I would rather drive further to another theater to get what I want. The saving grace to this movie theater was the great customer service and the fact that they allow for REAL BUTTER to be poured on your popcorn before you select a popcorn topping
