We took our daughter in as she almost collapsed at school. We waited 2 hours to be seen. She had to use the restroom when we got there I told her to hold in case they needed urine. After 2 hours she couldn't wait anymore. She went to the nurses station to ask where the restroom was. A nurse showed her. She was gone less than 10 seconds, and a different nurse came in asked where "He" was. I said SHE went to the restroom. The nurse said " I need urine" and left. I am very upset with the way it was handled. We never got to see the Dr. We left as she was feeling better. I will never willingly go back to this hospital. Very upset!
If I could give zero stars I would. Wife came by ambulance while I was at work to the ER approximately 8pm 1-30-23 One hour for CT scan results at 9:44pm HAH no results and it's 12:08 am 1-31-23 I've watched half a dozen or more people leave because they weren't seen by anyone. We could've drove to Columbus and been in and out faster than this. Edit:1:00am We've decided to leave and go to another hospital check your records and mail us our damn CT results. I'll be calling our attorney tomorrow.
We arrived on a busy evening in the ER. It was hectic and could possibly used more doctors, support staff / treatment rooms in the ER treatment center. The PA who worked with us was very knowledgeable and made what we considered a correct assessment of my wifes condition. We were admitted into the hospital where the nurses and staff were competent and helpful. When the call button was pressed someone was in the room in under one minute. This has not been our experience at many other hospitals. The food was tasty. I was also impressed with the Customer Experience Specialist and Dietician who asked for our candid input regarding the services provided by the hospital. Our stay here at O'Bleness hospital was good because of the people attending us.
My sister only 18 just delivered her baby here she’s a first time mother. Morning staff was great but when shift changed the nurses were completely unprofessional, rude, and out of line. My sister was breastfeeding her newborn for 20mins and then he stopped latching on she decided to take him off and go ahead and take the time to eat. Her nurse walks in and immediately tells her he still looks hungry after my sister tried to explain the situation the nurse took her son and placed him in the bassinet while saying “here you go little boy I guess momma gets to eat before you do” leaving my sister in a complete mess. I don’t think anybody should be spoken to that while right after delivering her child.
Outstanding when arrived at E R was asked my issues reason for coming by Holden class act guy who then took vitals and gave wrist band. Then of course you have to wait it's not a first come first serve system cardiac and respiratory issues take priority obviously common sense Doctors, Nurses and,all staff are great there I was given a cat scan to which upon results Doctor talked with me about them in a calm manner to ease my stress. Very pleased with my experience at their emergency room
My family and I were spending the week down in Southern Ohio exploring the hiking trails and beauty of the nature there when my 3 month old daughter suddenly became ill. We went to an urgent care where we were then sent to this hospital. When we arrived, an entire team came to triage her and get her checked in. Casey was our nurse and she took such wonderful care of our daughter and us while we were there. We were told they did not have the equipment needed to give her the proper care and we needed to transfer to a childrens hospital but because she required oxygen we could not drive her there ourselves. We were then told there were no available ambulances until 6:30a the next day. Holden, a nursing assistant then took action and ended up securing a helicopter ride to Akron childrens hospital. I am so thankful for the quick action of everyone at this hospital to get my daughter the care needed. I have never seen so many respiratory therapists, nurses, doctors, and providers work so well together as a team. Thank you to everyone who helped us. My family and I are forever grateful.
One night inpatient. Not impressed. I had COVID they didn't do anything for me. Gave me an IV because I was dehydrated, couldn't walk very well, diarrhea and vomiting. I asked to be discharged because I could get better care at home.
Went to the ER with it coming out both ends, staff in the ER was awesome, ended up staying over night and the staff was awesome also. Got the best care there.
I have most issues with billing, if someone thinks for a moment taking the cashier out of Obleness they are mistaken..I could go there get questions answered and pay the bills. Now nobody wants to take your money they want everything online and I refuse..today I went to ask someone about a bill they are clueless give I a # to call in Columbus I spoke to a Shelley she was polite but if NO help. It’s enough for us to take our Healthcare elsewhere.. the fact that Shelley told me all issues are related to Covid make me sick to my stomach.. COVID’s been around forever and I realize the strain may be different but ppl are tired of hearing their Healtcare and etc is lacking due to Covid.I guess the bill will get paid when someone will explain it.
If I could give this place a million negative stars, that still wouldn’t be enough. What an absolute disgrace for a hospital. I wouldn’t bring my pet rock here. *I would just like to update my review* What kind of Emergency Dept does not have enough bed space for it’s patients? Being left out in the waiting room for HOURS and not even being checked on? Usually anything having to do with symptoms related to a heart attack would get you seen immediately. Now, you just sit and wait in the lobby and hope you don’t die before you can even get in a room.
