Wish it was open but you can see if you things through the window. It's mainly open Saturday 10 to 5 and Sunday 2 to 6 and only by appointment during the week while I was here. I enjoyed seeing the old fire hydrants that are outside and you can see a good bit through the window as well. Hope to come back and explore the whole museum one day. What I really like is the little tour they give you any small museums by somebody who has a lot of passion for the topic.
I grew up in a small town in southeast TX, on the outside of Houston. We have a lot of our old fire stuff, my Dad and Grandfather were in the fire department, this was a wonderful experience. My grandfather said he might have to make a trip to check it out
Came by and peeked in the windows today. Explore the fire hydrants and such. Will have to come back on an open day.
What's the point if it's never open.
