02:27p 10/09/23. Just walked in and “both retail clerks” just looked stupid and said nothing. I guess this is how they operate at this location. 2nd time at this same location Walked in and the older black salesclerk is talking her damn head off to the “white lady” making a purchase.. but offered me no assistance whatsoever. The smiles and fakery dropped, as soon as the lady left. Literally no one in the store, so no excuse. I won’t be visiting or patronizing this location anymore. I’ll stick to Dunn Avenue/ Lem Turner Store.. and yes, I’m black. You would think either one of them would say: “Can I help you with anything?? If I could give it zero stars, I would.

I love the manager, Regina. She is so nice, friendly, and helpful. Cato has beautiful clothes at a very reasonable price . I've been shopping at Cato for many years.

Went into the building to buy something white to wear the church.. upon trying on the outfit the bottom of the white pantsuit collected dirt from off the floor. brought this to the manager Regina's attention. Was given a 10% discount for the bottom of the pantsuit being dirty as I go to the register to pay in cash.. Regina checks the money. She proceeds to tell me that the money is counterfeit. The marking on the money was yellow.. I took the money to the bank and the bank assure me that the money was not counterfeit.. I figured Regina was mad because I told her how dirty the floors was in the store .. so if I could rate this store they wouldn't have never got that one star..

Staff was great. Helped my wife for over 2 hours picking out several outfits.

Always a pleasure to shop here, especially for plus sized women; I never feel like I'm being relegated to the less-stylish side of the store for my size.

Friendly staff and still good prices. Love the jewelry. It's costume jewelry but, it's nice and they last a long time if you take care of it.

I absolutely LOVE this store. I still have sweaters from here that are over 5 years old and in perfect shape. The prices are more than reasonable. The only thing I do not know is whether they have specials or coupons. I just found this store again in my area and forgot to ask. They do have clearance racks if you are looking for a bargain.

This is my 2nd time going in. My 1st time the manager/ supervisor was in but she was too focused on picking clothes from the floor bur also moving from one rack to another while there were 5 people in line waiting for 30 min. And she had the audacity to get upset when i said something. It's one thing to pick clothes up off the floor that others don't trip. But it's another to be slow about it and move things around. Just puck up and get it out of the way... then help the customers. The other lady was nice and attentive and apologetic for the wait the whole time. Fast forward 1.5 yrs later. Same 2 people working. The cashier was welcoming, the supervisor was not, at least not until i ventured where she was although she had the same line of sight to the door as the other. Greet your customers. Not too much to ask. But when i was ready to check out she did acknowledge me finished what was in her hands and checked me out and in that moment made up for all the attitude i felt existed. We all all human and deserve 2nd chances. I will go back more on occassion.

Great clothes. We especially liked the clearances. Great customer service.
