CELOX™ First Aid Products for Bleeding are FDA approved and work on all bleeding – from nosebleeds, cuts and abrasions, to deeper trauma and potentially life-threatening bleeding. CELOX is easy to use – just apply to the bleeding area and apply pressure. The active ingredients in CELOX bind with red blood cells, form a gel-like plug on contact and stops nosebleeds and minor to moderate to potentially life-threatening bleeding – typically in less than 1 minute!
In addition, CELOX’s ability to stop bleeding is proven 100% effective on blood containing anti-coagulants such as Coumadin, Warfarin and Plavix. CELOX also works effectively with hypothermic (cold) blood for injuries sustained in cold-weather conditions. CELOX is also effective for people who suffer from blood disorders such as Hemophilia or vonWillebrands disease and is available in three convenient delivery systems.
CELOX Granules
CELOX Granules are a flaky powder contained in sterile 2 gram pouches that are small, flat, lightweight and easy to store and carry. To use – tear it open, pour the powder on the bleeding area, cover and apply pressure. It’s that simple!
CELOX Gauze
Full-strength CELOX granules are bonded to the surface of CELOX Gauze, which has a more stable, denser consistency than traditional thready gauze and does not compact under pressure. To use – just pack or cover the injury and apply pressure. CELOX Gauze is available in an 8” x 8” gauze pad and a 5’ x 3” gauze roll. Both are sealed in sterile pouches.
CELOX Nosebleed Dressing
CELOX Nosebleed Dressing is a small, specifically-shaped pad bonded with full-strength CELOX granules. To use – just insert a pad into the nostril and apply pressure. Remove after bleeding stops. Each Nosebleed Dressing is sealed in a sterile sleeve.
