Centegra Gavers Breast Center is the heart of Centegra’s Comprehensive Breast Program. Staffed by committed professionals who specialize in breast health, the center provides all breast-related
services using state-of-the-art equipment.
The breast center is American College of Radiology-accredited in mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and stereotactic biopsy and received initial national accreditation from the American College of Surgeons National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers in 2011. Women and men of the greater McHenry County area are able to receive both screening and diagnostic imaging services, including digital and 3-D mammography, multi-modality breast biopsies and breast MRI at one location.
