Description

Centennial Park Golf Course offers a challenging 3,300 yard, 9-hole, par 36 championship golf course and practice facility. Designed by noted architect Tim Nugent, and inspired by the sites myriad of environmental and topographic characteristics, the result is an eclectic blend of traditional links style architecture intertwined in a mix of highland and marshland settings.

With Multiple tee boxes, this course creates both challenge and fun for any skill level!

You do have to pay for parking during the summer months, only downside. Otherwise great park, beautiful bridges, art pieces, the hill was a fun little addition, making it easier to climb. Amphitheater is beautiful, fun place for an afternoon run or picnic. Dog-friendliness: Lots of people walking dogs.
This is a BEAUTIFUL place! During our weekend visit in Munster for an event, we decided to relax at a park before heading home. I'm so glad we came to Centennial Park. Everyone we encountered was so friendly, and the park offers so much beauty, tranquility, as well as history. It made my day! Playground: There's a nice playground area for kids to run around, swing, slide, and be active.
Beautiful park with nice walking trails, water features, gardens, and sculptures. It is $2 per hour $5 for the day to park if you're not a resident.
It used to be one of my favorite places to relax at. I work as a bus driver and decided to take a break at the park where I have always visited. Unfortunately, I never knew you had to pay for parking? So be aware that if you park on the red bridge side, you will have to pay somewhere…For parking. I would be okay with this had there been a more obvious sign. I ended up paying $45 to take a 40 min break after a stressful day. Also, the website where you pay-is sketchy. Pay on the professional parking management site. I googled it. Also, pay before the 15 days or they will double it. I’m from Chicago and it doesn’t ever cost me this much to pay for a simple park. It’s just not worth it anymore…
Picnic areas, amphitheater and fishing allowed catch and release. Beautiful! Playground: Looked like fun. Picnic area: Plenty of covered and spacious areas.

What a beautiful place. The water there the many places to sit and just enjoy the scenery. Even on a busy day it was still peaceful and filled with happy people.
