Cannot say enough about the Naperville River Walk area and the parks, restaurants, and businesses along it. Such a beautiful and well kept place with even and groomed trails, lots of great smelling lilacs in the spring too! I enjoyed reading the postings at the monuments along the way, and the covered bridges were a great design feature!
Someone recommended this park to me to visit and it was great. Walking during the evening was prefect. The path around the river was decent and the view of the river and fields were relaxing. Definitely a pretty area and my wife and I enjoyed it. Picnic area: Plenty of space for a picnic.
This is probably the best public pool I have ever seen. The sand area and shallows are amazing for young kids, while adults can enjoy a good swim in the enormous deep end. Locker rooms, bathrooms and other amenities are all clean and well maintained. It does get busy, but the pool is so large that it never felt overcrowded.
Plenty of security but weren't able to enjoy fully because we were asked to exit pools because of weather. Didn't really rain or have any lightning but mostly everyone proceeded to leave.
Definitely worth the summer family pass if you are a Naperville resident. This place is big enough to allow your family the room to swim around and have fun together. It also has plenty of room to swim in it's deep 15 feet area for experienced swimmers. My family enjoyed the spacious park area to allow us to sit and enjoy a picnic.
It's pretty great. It's clean, the pools are huge, there's a place to bbq where they supply the grill. There also a place like a little grill place to buy food. They supply Adirondack chairs, and life vests for thoes who want them. When u get to the water, it's literally like a beach, there's a bit of sand amd u just walk right in up to 4ft. There is a slide, as well as some lanes to swim laps. After the lanes to swim laps it drops off to 15ft. There are diving boards and a pontoon to jump off of. The entire pool itself is super freaking huge. Will definitely be back with friends. Restrooms: Plenty of restrooms Picnic area: Plenty of picnic benches to eat.
Nice grounds, staff, amenities and reasonable cost Playground: Clean and toddler friendly Restrooms: Clean Picnic area: Plentiful, grills available, lots of tables
At the beginning of the season the water was far dirtier than I ever remember it being, but my last visit on 6/10 they really made an improvement! The water was blue and way cleaner than it had been, much more like I remembered before!
Very nice place pool temp is better as the summer goes on . Very safe feeling gaurds are a little rude when it comes to correction but that to be expected You can bring your own cooler with food and non alcoholic beverages 15 foot area is great to relax in
Driving all the way there from WI, over 2hrs away, I can say I was quite impressed. There's a huge Sandy Beach leading up to the zero depth entry of the pool. It's well labeled with the height of the water and then it gradually increases in depth. It's roped off where it's really deep and also where the diving tower is. There's a nice water slide in the not so deep area. Am amazed at how clean the area is that surrounds the beach and the water & that people follow the rule of no food by the water. They also have a corral of beach/sand toys, so you don't have to drag that along. For those who complain about the price of food/drinks, it's comparable to any fast food restaurant you go to. For kids meals you can get fruit or chips & a drink, & we got quite a lot of watermelon & it actually tasted good.
