Central Carolina Surgery, PA became an official corporation on October 1, 1999. However, the founding members of this practice and their roots in the surgical history of Greensboro go back to the late 1950s.
In 1995, there was a merger of three surgical practices to form Triad Surgical Specialists, PA. In 1999, Triad Surgical Specialists and Greensboro Surgical Associates merged to form Central Carolina Surgery (CCS) with the following physicians in order of seniority: Drs. Young, Abrams, Price, Leone, Weatherly, Davis, Streck, Bowman, Ingram, Martin, Newman, Hoxworth, Lindsey, Gerkin, Earle and Rosenbower.
The new practice moved into their present offices on the third floor of the Professional Medical Center on Church Street. While some surgeons have retired and new surgeons have joined the group, our commitment to our patients is unwavering.
We serve the communities of Burlington, High Point, Greensboro, Kernersville, Winston-Salem and surrounding areas.
