Central Park Sunset Tours was founded by New York City tour guides who felt there must be a better way to share the park with tourists. We designed the tour from scratch and have included a variety of locations from the rocky Ramble, to the sprawling Sheep Meadow as well as all the favorite attractions like Tavern on the Green, The Central Park Zoo, The Carousel and more.

Matt knows every interesting detail of the living history of Central Park. I doubt you could ask him a question that he wouldn't know the answer to. And his tours are thoroughly entertaining, fun and a great way to see the park that most people never get to know. I highly recommend this tour for either a group, a couple or just on your own as a way to get to know the centerpiece of New York City.
This tour is WELL worth your time and money. Matt is entertaining and so knowledgeable. I learned things I never knew after living here 27 years and will recommend this to visitors AND New Yorkers. The walk was just long enough. You get a flavor of each major section of the park without being exhausted or feeling slighted. There is also time for restrooms and water. Don't waste your time with other companies. Ive taken a lot of tours and this one is the best!
What an extraordinary way to see Central Park! We learned so much about how the Park came to be, how it has evolved over the years, and what happens there now. Kelsey, our guide, kept us moving at a good pace, and we had plenty of time to take in each highlighted location. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and friendly, and she covered a lot of ground literally and in terms of information in a relatively short period of time. I highly recommend this tour.
Kelsey, bless her heart, was Soo accommodating and sweet even though I was 10 minutes late! She took the time to call me and assure me where'd she be too make sure I didn't miss this trip!! She is so smart and acknowledge about New York, that locals within our group didn't know all the facts of CP. She is so worth the tour $ plus $20 tip if u can do more, much recommended, she earns it !!!
This tour was amazing! I was not sure what to expect, as I had not previously taken a walking tour before. The guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. He really did a lot of research about the park, and the whole experience was very memorable. I highly recommend this tour!
