Challah for Hunger at Miami University allows students from different backgrounds to come together, bake challah, raise money for charity, and have fun!
Challah for Hunger brings Miami University’s students together to learn about Jewish responses to hunger and to combat it by baking challah—deliciously braided bread that Jews traditionally eat on the Sabbath—selling it to Miami’s students, and donating the proceeds to organizations working to help the hungry, locally and internationally.
