Thank you to the team who cared for my son tonight. You all were great, very kind and compassionate. The doctor responsible for my son's stitches did a great job. He cared about how it would look in the future and wanted to stitch his lip properly. Thank you again!
My review today is based solely around this facilities ER. Health care professionals should not contribute to or perpetuate stigma with OUD and other SUD's. Stigma stymies progress across the entire trajectory of prevention, treatment, and recovery. We are in an active opioid epidemic, please acknowledge that this stigma exists in your ER and address it so your facility can deliver quality patient care!!!
Fantastic, organized hospital. So attentive and knowledgeable and thorough. We are not local, but have experienced premier health facilities. Great PA’s and nurses. They gave my husband world class care. Thank you!
2 hours, waiting for anyone to speak to me, while I came in from complications from a surgery, yesterday morning and they say me in a chair, in the hall way where everyone kept bumping into me. I'm in pain. Not a single person came to speak to me. No nurse, not a doctor. No one. Had to leave. Service is terrible.
This place has no right to be called a hospital. I was sent there from another hospital because they were not equipped to handle my condition. So they put me in an ambulance and drove me 100 miles an hour when he could. to Plattsburgh only to sit in the emergency room from 3 o'clock PM to 5 o'clock AM. Then they performed an operation that was not necessary at all. I wish I could rate it lower
Dr Aunchman could you please use a bigger flashlight the next time you look in my mouth i just found out i have a dental abcess and ive been in severe pain all day and night. Maybe if you would had used a bigger brighter flashlight i wouldnt be hurting like rover the dog.
I don't know about anyone else but my family's experience in the worse time of our lives was very appreciated. The nurses took such good care of my dad. They were friendly, understanding, caring to my mother and us. They made the worse situation in our lives a little easier. They were traveling nurses so they probably won't see this or hear any of this but thank you all of you for being the caring nurses you are.
Loved one fainted and hit their head at 9:30pm. Went to the ER in an ambulance. A little after midnight they finally checked them for a concussion. Horrible place.
if i could rate any lower i would, if you have anything even the slightest bit difficult to figure out, they don’t do anything. i told them i had chest pain and they sat me in the waiting room for hours until i had enough and just left. it took them over a week to diagnose my thrush in my mouth and even now i have medical stuff going on and they are usless to figuring it out. don’t go here if there is something wrong.
I have lived in Plattsburgh for over 20 years now, my biggest regret is not researching the hospital at all before I moved here. It is hands down one of the worst run hospitals I have ever had to deal with. The nurses and staff are usually pretty nice but their CEOs and higher ups could use a little training on how to actually help people. Seems to me more attention is paid to money than on anything dealing with patients. I try to avoid this place at all costs and would recommend others to do the same. You will not get the care you actually need but will certainly get a giant bill for services you didn't receive. Wonder why it's so hard to attract and keep good medical staff in the North country...
