You're better off making one or ordering from a smaller business. We ordered an 8 inch vanilla and chocolate, three layer cake for our daughter's 1st Birthday with vanilla buttercream and I called the day off to tell them how lopsided and tasteless the cake was. I sent them pictures and everything. No one ever contacted me back as I was promised they would and our cake was $50! They were much better some years ago under different management. Not to mention when we placed our order we noticed there was a baby in a playpen in the kitchen throwing things and screaming. I understand that things are hard but children that young should not be in a kitchen while the business is open and serving customers.

Stopped by the bakery earlier today to look around a bit. Ended up getting a key lime tart and german chocolate cake. Both were pretty tasty, and for a good price!

Have always loved chandlers. This time was a bad experience from when I walked through the door. Employees yelling at patrons to get in line, no line or clear system in place, patrons cutting other patrons because of no line, disgruntled employees. Finally picked up my cake. Supposed to be for 10 people. Probably will only feed four. I understand before Easter is busy, but a simple line or ticket system would solve a lot of problems. Not much can solve a tiny cake that was supposed to feed ten.

I worked with Sam and placed my wedding cake order. I ordered a simple two tier cake with butter cream frosting and two different fillings. I paid for the $250 delivery because I didn't want to risk ruining the cake. My friend dropped off some flowers the day before the wedding. When I saw my cake the day of the wedding I was so excited because it turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! It also tasted fantastic!

So disappointed to pay $69 for a German chocolate cake that resembled no GC I’ve ever seen. Plain coconut on sides and top. Yes, white coconut! Barely edible!! I have no idea what went on here!!!

Prices are far too high for what they offer. A simple buttercream-frosted layer cake for $50? Go to Albemarle Baking Company for a less expensive, much more flavorful, and aesthetically beautiful dessert.

Fabulous & Delicious- I felt like I was in a European bakery!! The smell is just amazing! Everything looks so delightful. They are even selling gingerbread houses that they make right there. I had a slice of cheesecake and it was so good! Honestly this is an establishment that needs to be supported so it exists for generations to come ...........

We ordered a wedding cake from Chandler’s and were blown away by how gorgeous and delicious it was! Sam, who manages wedding cake orders, was easy to work with and helped us figure out the best choices for our cake. It was delivered on time and turned out beautifully! We ordered one layer of yellow and chocolate cake mix with triple berry cream in the middle and one layer of chocolate cake with raspberry chambord cream and had the entire cake iced with buttercream. Both layers were SO delicious and the buttercream was heavenly! The price was reasonable and the value was awesome! 10/10 would recommend!

Chandler's Bakery is fantastic. The cake and pastries for our wedding were delicious and beautiful! We have received so many compliments from the guests about how the cake tasted!

I was looking bakery for kid's party. My friends recommended me that place and I wasn't disappointed! They made cake for my 5 years old princess! She was very happy and excited to get birthday cake with her favorite princess Sofia. It was delicious. She wishes her birthday was every day.
