I went here and on a Saturday right when they opened. There weren’t too many people there and it was very low key. Was pleasantly surprised by how thorough all the exhibits were and how the museum was laid out. I learned a lot about the history of Waltham industry.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
As a museum, it’s great if you love history and the Industrial Revolution. I loved the original phone booth, with its double doors. I wonder what past generations would think of the little super computers we keep in our pockets now. I also appreciated the items that haven’t changed in a century- like the carpet sweeper! The watch collection was stunning. Overall, fascinating little museum.
It's impossibly difficult to find the entrance so do yourself a favor and go to the website for directions beforehand. Aside from that, this is one of my all time favorite museums. It's a treasure trove of detailed history for technical minds, engineers, and the mechanically inclined. Price for entry: $5
20% off with AAA. The museum hasa wealth of treasures, from Ford model T to some local geniuses Metz, Moody and Lowell hydroelectricity or steam inventions. Nice quick tour about the importance of the site and incredible watch factory artifacts how small some of these 140 pieces are!. $10 entrance without discount in April 2022, during weaver guild demos a math feat!. Parking is on street and complicated there...

I loved running into the helpful people at Watch City Bike lab who volunteer their time and help people with their bikes for free. 10/10 community experience. They are on the river boardwalk from may-october.Visited onWeekend

Took a group there as a trip; great info, great artifacts, really need to work on their tour giving skills. Also having possible wedding clients coming in and out during the tour was very distracting.Visited onWeekend
