Beautiful place. Foggy and cool the day we were up there so no views of the ocean but the wildflowers were in full bloom. Saw some quail. Dog-friendliness: Dogs on a leash. Please don't bag your pet's waste and leave it lying on the trail. It's STUPID, worse than not doing anything at all, and a good way to get dogs banned from an area.
Parking is free as of Feb 14, 2023. You can park until sunset. Clean, well-stocked restrooms right by parking lot. Beautiful views and easy hike.
It is beautiful and easy! Stay on the trail and you'll be safe! I consider this a kindergarten, "hike." Remember to respect Mother Nature and to keep in mind your body's limits. Stay healthy!
Absolutely love this hike, one of my favorite! Fairly easy hike leading to absolutely stunning views, as do most of the hikes on the west side. So many secret treats also to this location, unfortunately I won’t be sharing those here as I wish to keep them a secret. @the_holistic_hippie on IG for more pics from this location.
Lovely park with well-maintained facilities and trails. Beautiful views of the mountains, Malibu beaches, and the ocean. Dog-friendly, but keep them leashed to avoid mishaps with rattlesnakes which are common in the area.
Stellar hike with multiple trails that are scenic and challenging . They are well worth the trip , and time spent. Bring extra water and sunscreen.

A beautiful place for a walk. You walk out through the ravine,which is recovering from the fire, out to the lookout with a glorious view of the sea. Then back through the meadows to lunch at the remnants of the old ranch house. Lovely! Clean and well kept bathrooms too!!!

It's a nice easy hike with good views of the canyons of Malibu and ocean views. Plenty of camera opportunities to explore and see the less tame parts of the city without having to travel far from the city. A nice break.
