We have been going to Chico's for several years now. Whether we sit down and dine in or take out the food is always the best! The service and the people that work there are super friendly! I've never had a bad experience or a bad meal! I highly recommend if you enjoy authentic Mexican food to try them out! You will not be disappointed!
This place is awesome. It was my first visit but and left a great impression. The staff was super friendly and the owners have another establishment in our hometown and it is just as good too. I had the quesadillas, I know, basic, but they are my favorite and they were on point! The chips and salsa were bottomless. They had tv's which was nice, don't remember what was on but I watched them. The food came out in a very reasonable time and came out right. No issues or complaints. A really great place and can't wait to make my second visit soon.
This is the best Mexican restaurant I've been to in awhile! We usually go to La Unica, which is also a very good chouxe, but Chico's has them beat! The staff is very attentive: we've never had to wait longer than a few minutes for a table, and the waiters are always coming by to check if we need drink refills or refills on the chips and salsa. They don't skimp on the entree portions either!! I'm almost always taking some home with me which is helpful for lunch the next day. The prices are also reasonable and actually a steal for how great the portions are. I always go when I'm in the mood for Mexican food and they never disappoint!!
Disappointed. Ordered the Al Pastor tacos specifically because I love pineapple salsa, when they arrived no salsa. Was told they were out, they offered to allow me to order another dish but the kitchen was a bit slow and I didn't want to wait while the rest of the family ate. What i had was good but not outstanding. Will try them again and hopefully it'll be better. If so I will update my review.
Maybe the most underrated Mexican place in Meck County. Tucked away next to Food Lion, behind Taco Bell the location doesn't exactly help drive business, this place serves some of the best Mexican in town. Full service bar with plenty of seating and friendly staff. We've dined in and ordered take-out. Everything I have had from here was very good. Excellent salsa. Good selection of Mexican beers/specials.
The food was ok and reasonably priced. However, the service was excellent. Only one server was on the floor the entire time but he did the work of 4 people. He was smooth and never missed a chance to ensure we had everything we needed. Even our extra requests were met with a smile! I would have given 4 stars but the bathrooms were deplorable, and the restaurant also could use a good cleaning. The female hostess did nothing to help throughout our entire meal except walk around with her cell phone. Maybe she should do some cleaning instead!
Tacos are great. Definitely worth a return trip for sure. However, Service was terrible with and almost empty restaurant on a Saturday at 730pm . Server could care less about our table and spent all of his time talking to his colleagues. And when he was at the table he barely spoke or could care that we were even there. Again I stress, The food was great and tacos were awesome!
I love this restaurant. Great food. Very attentive, fair prices and friendly staff. I think I'll go there again today. I usually cook and eat at home everyday, but I eat here on my day off of cooking. Love y'all at Chico's! See you soon!
Pretty bad experience. Went around 4pm for an early dinner and only one waiter working. I suppose they weren't expecting to be busy so early, which is understandable, but a few tables filled up and service was slow and bad. Food took a long time and was cold and not tasty when it arrived. Other Mexican restaurants in Huntersville are far superior. Chico's used to be good but something has changed. Overall bad experience.
Always good food. Love the fajitas! UPDATE: This place used to be our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Huntersville area. We'd go 2/3 times a month. Sadly the last time we went will probably be our last time eating there. Service was just ok, but the food quality had taken a nose dive. we talked to our server about it and nothing happened, so for now Adios to Chicos.
