Where can I begin… We had a serious emergency with our Bella and we were super anxious and scared. I called in a panic and they got us right in for an appointment. Bella required a complicated surgery and Dr. Joshi really did a wonderful job for her. Doc and his team are really amazing and we are so very appreciative and thankful for everyone treating our Bella like she was theirs. She had to heal and recover for awhile in the hospital and we were able to visit everyday. We love that they not only tell you but also show you everything that is going on with your baby. Also, their prices are more than fair for the quality of care that they give your pet. We will not trust her continued care to anyone but Clark Animal Hospital. Thank you again guys. You are much appreciated. L. Boone and family!
Wonderful experience. Everything was very professional. The staff made sure everything went smoothly. Overall, I’m glad my cat was comfortable enough on her first vet visit. 10/10 for sure going back.
Just leaving but amazing service I appreciate them so much the doctor was more than helpful with us and our fur baby would definitely recommend going forever great full.
If you love your pet do not come here. Yesterday, I visited this location as an emergency visit after my small Pomeranian dog swallowed a small amount of Rat poison while my son in law was cleaning his outdoor shed. Their website stated they handle emergency visits and they close at 6:00 pm on Sundays. At 3:40 pm, My husband and I were outside their door calling the receptionist. She refused to allow us in because she stated they were closing in an hour and sent us to a 24 hour vet located 15 more minutes away. At this point, needless to say, we were very upset. My daughter, in the meantime, was calling poison control to get a control number to proceed for this incident. We didn’t know while this was all happening that this was protocol. We also didn’t know that in order to receive this control number we had to pay a $75.00 fee. We were more than happy to pay this amount as no amount of money can replace my little 3 year old girl. When I reached this new location, my daughter called us and told us not to worry because poison control told her she would have to swallow 8 of the small packages to get a reaction and to follow up with her vet. After consulting with my vet and my vet communicating with poison control, our baby girl Dakota is ok and that’s all that matters. Believe me.. this has taught us a huge lesson! Please do not bring your pet here. They are awful and insensitive. Thank you for allowing me to explain all that happened and hopefully this story can save your pet. Do your research and check reviews. We are sorry we didn’t.
This is was my first going to this vet to bring in my new kitten “Milo” for his first check up. I was able to easily make an appointment on their website with no issue! And hands down 10/10! Whole process was about 40-50 mins max Their customer service are great and very pet friendly to all animals : Their prices are also affordable. They have amazing workers/doctors as well.
I’ve been taking my Ferret to Clark Animal Hospital for a couple of years now. The staff is very friendly and the vet is great at communicating any issues with my pet. Truly appreciate everything they have done for me and my family
Has to wait 2 hours from the start of my appointment until we were done. Most of that was just wait time. You also can’t go inside with your animal. I was so annoyed And just wanted to get out of there already so I said yes to everything and realized when I got home that I definitely received prescriptions that I don’t think that my cat actually needed. I would not recommend.
Great Vet hospital - especially in an emergency with our GSD we call Fox. He was ill all of a sudden, our regular vet was closed. It was late on a Sunday and Clark Vetinary saw him right away yes, a little delay in waiting but they are busy!. Dr. Joshi treats your pet like it was his own and addressed ALL our concerns. We went home with everything we needed to make our sick boy feel better. We were treated like family. So now Clark Vetinary is our regular vet! If you don't have pet health insurance- then get it! Emergencies can be costly - but still worth it to keep your beloved pet family member happy and healthy! We are glad we found Clark Vetinary Hospital. Dr. Joshi and staff are the best! He really takes the time with you and your pet and he takes pet nutrition very seriously! Your dog needs to eat right and have correct supplements and a doctor who knows the difference. Dr. Joshi is that doctor. He is also a pet surgeon so when you need one he is there! A big thanks to the Doc and his awesome staff!
I'm not writing this review to tell people to never bring their pets here but rather to make room for improvement. And to also say that while "professionalism and integrity" are important so is humility, genuinely listening and trying to understand one's concerns. 9/6/22 I bring Bella in for the 3rd time in a week or so. I constantly kept voicing my concerns about Bella not eating and her being very lethargic, weakness of her back legs, non stop bleeding gums, bruise on her chest. I was repeatedly told some symptoms could be due to the periodontal disease and that she should be started on insulin. I also said to Dr. Hoglund that if Bella was in pain and dying that I wanted to put her down rather than let her live in pain, to which she simply responded "I understand". 9/12 I speak to doctor Hoglund on the phone and voice my concerns again, about the red bruising on her chest, lethargy, lack of appetite. she tells me to bring Bella in and start her on insulin asap etc. I tell her that she put me at ease because I was convinced my dog was dying which she was. on 9/14 I wake up I rush Bella to the emergency vet because she was in pain and showing signs of discomfort in her stomach. Upon a physical examination the vet at ER tells me that Bella's symptoms indicate she has some form of cancer - either leukemia or lymphoma - swollen lymph nodes, sores that were not healing, low white blood count as her gums were pale and constantly non stop bleeding of gums, ulcers in her mouth, lethargic, and the bruise on her chest that was the red flag because dogs don't bruise easily. Most of these symptoms were present at the time I took Bella in to clark vet. Now I understand that misdiagnosis can happen with dogs just as they can happen with humans especially since I didn't have the funds for extensive testing. What brings me to write this review is the how I was met with arrogance & blame when I went in to put my baby down since she was clearly dying & in pain. I tell Dr. Joshi that I was upset because Bellas condition was way worse than Dr.Hoglund was making it seem, I felt like they were overly confident in their diagnosis and didn't take the time to really consider other options despite me constantly voicing my concerns. I was told arrogantly that there "is nothing wrong with Dr Hoglund, they're known for professionalism and integrity... have been in the business for many years" and that they would never tell pet owners to put their pet down..which I never accused them of doing in the first place this goes to show how little he was listening to me. "Do you know how many pets come in here dying and walk out fine?" he says making me feel like I was making the wrong decision for putting her down despite seeing the condition she was in. When I tell him the ER vet said she had some form of cancer he arrogantly responds "well did she tell you there is treatment? Did she tell you that?" My dog was clearly dying, her breathing was labored, she was so weak she couldn't even lift her head. At the state she was in there was no treatment that was going to save her and he knew that. The ER vet suggested I don't wait long to put her down. These were my final moments with my Bella. Dr. Joshi made them stressful and made me feel bad for making the decision to put her to rest despite seeing her in the condition she was in. He was focused on protecting his businesses' integrity rather than listening to understand what I was trying to say, he got defensive. Unfortunately, "professionalism and integrity" are not the same as humility, and genuinely trying to understand one's concerns and feelings. Instead of speaking to me with a calming tone he spoke with arrogance, defensiveness and blame. He could've waited until I finished voicing my concerns and then responded with something along the lines of "I understand, but unfortunately some cancers can progress in a matter of days.... etc, anything else except for what he said. With that said, I still think they are good vets but as with everything in life, there is always room for improvement.
On a wim I found this vet after going multiple places for my cats . I am very pleased with the service, everyone is so nice, they take walkin apts and if u have an emergency they will see u right away . They have xray machines and everything right there which I like . I will now use this vet for all my cats ! I already brought 2 there with emergencys and the doc was very good he talks u through everything before they do it and tells u pricing before hand so there are no surprises like other places I've gone . I only wish I can go inside bc u have to wait in the car but otherwise very great place!
