My son is on the spectrum and it's been a struggle to find a place that he was comfortable and felt safe enough to fully immerse himself into playing full throttle without holding back or getting deterred from letting lose. This place was beyond what I expected and the staff was so understanding and patient with us. It made the whole experience an answered prayer!!. I'm thankful for this memory with my son, tears of happinesses were most definitely shed. WE WILL BE BACK SOON AS WE CAN!!
All I can say is that this place is absolutely amazing! The kids loved every single minute we were there! They didn’t want to even sit still to eat lunch! Lol! We packed a lunch and ate in the cafeteria area. We saw a movie in the theater. Sit in the back if you go. My neck was sore & I sat in the front. Lol! I kept looking up & around. The back row seats are the best view. Take your kids & enjoy all day!
Great museum for younger kids. There are a lot of different exhibits and everyis interactive. My 8 year old's favorite thing was the 3-story climbing sculpture. The younger kids loved the fire truck.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entryFree

We came today to take part in the Tinker Toy class every Friday. Today's class was on dinosaurs. They read a book, had a counting activity with dinosaur footsteps, and sensory activity finding dinosaurs. We also met a friend to play, go to the planetarium, and check out the new dinosaur exhibit. All of the areas were pretty well kept up with besides the music section that we love doing. The room with the drums and percussion instruments was closed. We were in love with the fire truck for the longest time. We had fun in the art gallery doing the children's activity that they have to the left. And of course the new dinosaur section was amazing! We had fun climbing the Ashton Climbing Structure towards the end of our visit also.
Beautiful Place inside and out!! Went to see a play and the seating and everything was so nice!!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$21–30
Very fun place to take kids! We spent 5 hours here and my daughters still did not want to leave.
The clay center is located in the center of the city but with less crowded. Parking lots are located adjacent to the main building which is close enough to walk. Though it’s a paid parking it costs us $3 per day. The museum is good to spend and learn about water, human body, painting collections, learning about the grocery store, fire truck, bank , house construction etc… a day to spend on the museum with kids and enjoy the paintings.
Fun museum! Includes art museum on the top floor, hands-on science discovery center in the middle, and simulated town for kids on the bottom floor. We went at a time where there were three different field trips, so it was a little bit hard to get around in there, but it was really fun! I'd say the age range is upto about 9 years, but our teenager had fun as well
The clay center used to be so cool, but now it's kind of a let down. The water play area doesn't have any sort of interaction anymore, they got rid of the Legos to build the dams with, boats are missing, very few balls left, most of it doesn't even work. Even the Adirondack chairs are gone and replaced with a few uncomfortable benches. My Town used to be great too, but now everything is missing or broken. The grocery store is missing over half of its food and one of the registers doesn't work, the electrical room doesn't have enough pipes or bolts to build anything with, the vet only had one stethoscope and just a few animals, the toddler area had a few half eaten foam blocks and looked dirty. It wouldn't even cost a lot to buy some more stuffed animals, vet kits, dress up clothes for the theater, play food, Legos for the dams, etc. The inventor's lab is fairly new though and the kids liked that and the climbing structure. The concerts here are nice but I guess they don't make enough revenue to give some TLC to the rest of the building.
