Would Love to give more them 3 starts, I’m an Urbexer and also explore dead malls, this has been on my list for quite some time. Very nice clean mall.. it’s like a step back in time, stuck in the 80s. Very nice and quiet for mall walking. Sadly I got here at a bad time and security was on my tail. Was able to get some nice shots and footage before they chased me out. Glad I was able to film this time capsule before it’s gone forever. The security guard raided me with questions and in the end I asked “do you think the mall will last” he stated “Yeah, it’s not going anywhere” In my opinion with the price of rent at this mall and 0 stores inside besides a pretzel stop and the 2 anchors I don’t see it lasting more that a couple more years if even that. If your interested in a full video tour check out my channel on YouTube @ J&SExplores
The Clearview Mall, as most malls are now it is limited with stores. The mall itself is a very nice and clean mall. The location is easy to get to and find parking. The stores are very limited, but they do have a couple of good ones Boscov, Dunham, and a book store. There are some food options that are close by. I know a lot of negative reviews mention ghost town, and yes, there are a lot of open spaces to be rented. I have not been in a mall yet that is full. The mall may have lost stores, but it still is a great place to visit.
Not much open at all. Like nost malls in Pennsylvania seems dead. Only went in to wait for texas roadhouse to open. Almyers is definitely worth checking out and maybe the arcade. But that seems to be about it.
I love you royal king, it was a five and a half hour drive to visit. Please bring a royal king to NEPA. Staff prices parking everything is great
This Mall is very clean and has a lot to offer for what little occupancy they have left! The food court is big! They have a Dunhams , Rural King , Trampoline place, and Boscov’s. Although many empty store fronts are scattered throughout the mall. Losing the Payless , Sears , and Hot Topic. This mall still can make a major comeback. Clearview Mall even has a arcade. So , stop in today and enjoy some shopping or mall walking. Plus if your into Gambling they have a mini casino.
Although Malls beimg phased out of the shopping experience, Clearview Mall has adapted well. With stores like Rural King, and Boscovs ,and great food like Texas Roadhouse they are doing well and keeping the mall experience alive !!
You can hear the ghost of the old Butler mall whispering,"as I am, so shall you be" as you walk the nearly deserted corridors. Very few shops remain. The management of this mall worked very hard for this result by raising rents so high almost no one could remain.
Boscovs is the best store in the mall! If you need a pretty dress or more formal attire, they have a great selection. Active wear is also great here.
There are a few stores I occasionally visit at Clearview mall, mainly Rural King, but for the most part it's another dead mall. It's not that it's a bad place or anything, but it has the same problem all malls do these days..
It’s like stepping back in time 30 years! Probably the emptiest mall I’ve seen in my life: decline in American retail scene here?
