The power recliners for all the seats are next level. The theaters are 5 star. The bathrooms were gross and annoyingly small stalls so I had to go 4 star. Loved the staff, love that I pick my seats. I have already gone back again.
First time here in about 5 years. All-in-all, it is better than before, under the new ownership. The seating is nice and a major upgrade but can be slightly uncomfortable on your neck, especially if you have neck issues. Overall, the theater was mostly clean and staff were friendly. All of this plus the lower prices makes for 4-4.5 stars.
I'm not much of a movie goer but this theater will be my go to place from now on. The seats were extremely comfortable recliners, not crowded together. The air conditioner was set at a comfortable temperature. Overall the place was clean and prices were fair. Previews were not politically biased as they have been at other theaters.
This place recently got a much needed facelift. Brand new reclining seats in every theater! So glad MovieScoop took over the place. Makes me happy to go to the movies again.
Cashier, Brysin, needs a lesson in politeness and customer service. I hadn't been to the theater in quite some time and asked about the gourmet vs traditional popcorn. He just gestured to the various flavors which I hadn't noticed. He seem very annoyed. When he showed the seats to pick I asked if I touched the ones we wanted. The tone of his reply was unacceptable. He was rude, condescending and utterly unhelpful. We got the popcorn bucket which is overpriced and the popcorn was mostly small bits not full pieces of popcorn. Made it very hard to eat. The new luxury seating was nice but the only good thing about the night.
Can't say enough for the staff at MovieScoop, especially the blonde girl, believe her name was Avery was absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond on service. Can't wait to go see another movie at this establishment.... my friend loves the popcorn!!!
Unfortunately for me, this theater is the only theater within an hour drive of my house. As someone who enjoys to go to the movies often, this movie theater is absolutely insufferable, and my only option for a theater. I called with a complaint months ago and was told “a staff meeting would occur to resolve the issues” I presented. However, it seems no meeting of the sort occurred, as the same problems were STILL occurring. Upon my recent visit, I was greeted with a bathroom covered in wadded up toilet paper and multiple unclean toilets. The bathroom is hardly EVER clean and makes you feel like you need a decontaminate shower after use. Something I complained about in my initial call with Moraine. After that, I purchased a medium popcorn, which tasted as though it had been made hours prior to the Friday night rush. I understand that a Friday means you’re busy, but serving stale popcorn is not acceptable. Batch making popcorn and then serving it for hours on end is foul. This is something I brought up in my initial complaint as well. Lastly, when I finally got to my theater the lights stayed on during the previews and turned on with about five minutes left of the movie. This was yet another occurrence that happens in this theater. I’m oddly confused about how there are no other similar complaints to the ones I’ve posed. What can possibly be done to resolve these issues of uncleanliness and unprofessionalism? I’m assuming another staff meeting.
Luxury theaters are very comfortable. Be advised though you do have to recline to be comfortable due to the height of the screen this is a positive in my view.
I live 2 miles from this theater but have been going to Cranberry movie scoop not knowing this theater was remodeled to the luxury seating . Tried it tonight and it’s absolutely disgusting which is such a shame because the seats are great . 6:00 Saturday night and the theater is empty , guy behind counter is beyond grumpy and so miserable. Got 3 types of popcorn, regular , cheddar & white & all 3 were absolutely inedible. Wanted to get my money back but just threw it all out not to deal with the grumpy guy . The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, trash everywhere, smelt horrible, can’t even imagine the last time it was cleaned especially since like 4 other ppl were there. This theater is going to close down quickly if you guys don’t do something. I’ll drive the 35 minutes to cranberry theater, even though it’s always crowded the lines move quickly , staff is nice, bathrooms alway clean & the popcorn is the best I’ve ever had . Moraine pointe you’re the worst !!!!!!
Hadn't been to a theater for years, but I was pleasantly surprised by the new reclining seats! Super comfy! The concession stand is a bit over priced but to be expected.
