Do not trust anyone within the court they lie on the phone to address concerns about court dates. It took only after the court date timeframe for them to gain interest in my case. Make sure to only visit this area make no effort trying to communicate concerns because like I said the call center they have take longer than usual to respond to your concerns and give you the run around on your particular circumstance. Moving forward, stop calling them and try to make it into the court because it will take you days even weeks for the reason of your hearing and or concern’s.
Judge Missildine was so kind and fun during our marriage ceremony! We are thrilled to have had our wedding officiated by him and our day was made that much more special! The “May the 4th be with you” theme was memorable and a nice touch! Very easy process and professional court.
Wanted to get my occupational driver's license. The ladies attending to me were polite and straightforward. Filled the paperwork and paid for filing. Got a call later in the afternoon it was ready for pickup.
My husband and I were very happy with the wedding ceremony performed by Judge Missildine. The building isn't much to look at, but the Judge is very personable and behaves as if he actually enjoys doing weddings. It was just the two of us, but he made it memorable and special.
This place is another joke, with a strong stance of "we're doing the right thing for our kids" defence of itself. The lady's at the front desk are not willing to keep the door open... my daughter and i got there at 1602 hours. While in the hall, noticed the hours of operation we're until 1700 hours. But that was only for eviction purposes. Funny though, we waited there until 1615 hours and not one other person came up the stairs. Or down the hall. And so I called to voice my disappointment with their lack of customer service. To which I got... "Is there anything else I can help you with"attitude. I thought Justice of the Peace was supposed to be a servant to the people. And I get it... Four o'clock means for o'clock, you don't want people rushing up there until 1630 and yet... No one else came up. And someone multiple people were there. A customer came out of the door at 1611 hours. I remember my grandfather telling when I was growing up... "Every customer is important, even the ones at 1715. If your in the store, take care of the customers knocking at the door". SMH, judge Payton!
I called this office because I needed assistance getting a landlord to fix the air conditioner. I spoke with Betty in the office of Judge Sarah Martinez. She was very helpful. She explained to me a Repair Remedy and the time it would take for it to be enacted. Because she new an air conditioner was very important in the Texas heat, she gave me additional resources and contact numbers that would possibly provide me with a quicker resolution to my problem. I was extremely pleased with her knowledge and professionalism. Should I need the assistance of a Justice of the Peace again, I will call this office as all personnel were friendly and helpful.
The people in the office upstairs in the precinct 3 place 2 room 210 always have a queue of people on there phone and in person waiting. They clearly are overwhelmed and even if you’re in a different department and not doing anything why not help the front desk people? I’m here and they’re sitting in the back laughing while people are on the phone being asked to hold and never gotten back to. That’s why I’m here bec they never ever answer the phone. There’s usually another lady here but the last two times I’ve come it’s only been the African American lady she’s nice and always very content and calm by they need help in the front or something.
One word to describe this place: Incompetent. Their online case filing system doesnt work. I was told that im missing some forms with my online filing so i called them to check the forms were missing/needed and i was told by the lady on the phone that she cant tell me that. When i visited the office after multiple failed attempts to file online, they told me about the forms that were needed. What a joke! They can give me the info in person but not over phone, Staff should know the difference between "informing about the forms needed for the case" vs "legal advise". And to be honest nobody will take legal advise from you lot for their own good, at least i hope so. This office is not understaffed, its filled with incompetent people. Even their credit card machine was not working. Bottom line is that nothing works in this office. All of them should be audited and monitored especially the person who staffed this office. I have been to government offices in 3 different countriesone of them was in underdeveloped country so far and this was by far the worst of them all, i dont think anyone will be able beat them at being incompetent.
I had a simple question about having a speeding ticket deferred. I found two email addresses and one phone number. After trying all three multiple times, I just went up there. They're not going to answer the phone, listen to your voice mail or email you back.
Was apprehensive about going to ANY JP, but I tell you what, Judge Mike Missildine was the most personable Judge I have ever met. Kind, friendly, understanding and accommodating in every way. Thank you SO much Judge Missildine!!!!!!
