All about CSP
Commercial Seating Products was started by a group of engineers in 1997. This group of engineers operated a beech wood factory in Bulgaria, manufacturing commercial grade chairs. In addition to producing chiavari and folding chairs, the group of engineers also designed many different styles of chairs.
In 2002, Commercial Seating Products began to convert to resin seating, beginning with the patented “Max” Resin Folding Chair.
By 2004, CSP gained notoriety by creating the “Max” Resin Chiavari Chair. While gaining another patent, CSP was able to create the first resin chiavari chair that featured a gas injection molded chiavari over steel tubing. This technological achievement helped the “Max” Resin Chiavari chair to have all of the great looks of a traditional wood chiavari, but with the strength and durability provided by the resin and steel.
A year later, CSP created the first ever clear chiavari chair. Dubbed the “Ice Chair”, the “Max” Crystal Chiavari series was born. Clear resin over a reflective stainless steel frame, helped countless decorators start new trends, which were reflected in countless wedding shows and the Hollywood film “Prom Night”.
CSP continued their innovations in by introducing the “Max” Metal Ballroom chairs in 2008. The three styles not only allowed more design options, but continued with CSP’s tradition of creating equipment that lasts.
In 2009 CSP went further with their development by creating the “Max” Cocktail Series, which included brand new LED Bars and cocktail tables. CSP also created the first ever resin Chiavari barstool by updating their already patented processes.
CSP continues their growth through innovation by not only improving classical seating products, but also by creating numerous custom products. Through CSP’s engineers, Commercial Seating Products is “Making Equipment Right”.
