For 30 years years, Common Hope has made hope real in Guatemala—even when hope was hard to come by. When all you have known is poverty, it can be hard to believe things will ever change. But our founders had a lot of hope, and they believed things could change. So they got to work alongside families, hope grew in Guatemala, and it started to become reality. Families built sturdier homes. Children received the health care they needed. Teenagers of illiterate parents graduated from high school. Hope isn't fluffy; it gets things done.
