Based on the recommendation of my primary doctor, I made an appointment with Dr. Merza. This is not a review of Dr. Merza, Someone in the compationate oofice had changed my appointment with Dr. Merza to a different doctor without my knowledge. Then, when I arrived for my appointment I was told the coordinator can reschedule my appointment with Dr. Merza a months later. At least they could hve informed me ahead of time, considering that it took more than one month to get the first mishandled appointment.
Haven't been able to get through to set up appointment for my husband since 5 days ago. Got recording twice that wouldn't let me leave message, then it hung up . Called back 3rd time and same person who answer last 2 times says now the girl isn't in she leaves early on Fridays. Then says call back Monday? Why didn't she say this the 1st I called wasting my time trying to leave messages. RMC said urgent to call this center that they were waiting for a call from my husband? This is the first facility I heard of that doesn't call the patient to set up appointment for consultation when its considered Urgent. Do I even want my husband to have treatments here?when we can't even get his 1st appointment date . Its now going on 3 weeks since the referral was sent. Having doubts about what kind of service this place has for their patients care? Not impressed so far.
Dr. Raowas is an amazing doctor! he listens to the patient and all of their symptoms even when it’s isn’t necessary, he’s always on time with his appointments, and he manages everything perfectly. his treatments are a step by step process that doesn’t damage your health even more and makes you feel better. not only him but his staff treat all patients with the utter most respect and kindness. thank you Dr. Raowas!
I appreciate the quality of care I'm receiving but they should remove Compassionate from the name. They're more concerned with what the insurance Co will pay and won't. If any question of anything above and beyond arises, the compassion goes out the window and you're on your own.
Dr Merza was so kind and understanding. He took the time to explain everything. Time is rare nowadays with doctors but that was not the case with Dr Merza. He really made a difference in my mom's cancer care. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience at the Fountain valley location and I was reluctant to drive so far to the Corona location but I am so grateful we did and that my mom met Dr Merza. An added plus is the staff and front office are also friendly and helpful.
My dad has been going here for just about 2 years, his doctor's name is Dr. Kumar. He is absolutely considerate and kind-hearted. One of the BEST doctors hands down! Shartisia is such a sweet heart, but then again most of the front desk ladies are. All of the nurses I have interacted with are super friendly. I would have to say my 2 favorites are Dulce & Dina I hope that's her name! They've been nothing but helpful since we met them. Having to take my dad to this doctor was so scary at first, we've never been through any of it and Dr. Kumar was excellent through it all. I'm so sad that he will no longer be my dad's doctor! So thankful to have such great people looking after my dad.
Thanks to the Dr. Mirza hope I recall correct name. who checked me. Great person, very patient and kind enough to explain and spend time with patients. The front office response to phone calls and follow ups is horrible! They have to change the name to “ Hard-time Cancer No Care”. For over three weeks I have constantly kept calling and following up between Dr. Pucheco and “Cancer No care” office just to know when is the tests and scans, what time I shall schedule with Drs. Etc... They are unaware of patients information, follow up and updates!! The patient is like a soccer ball, passing one to another.
Dr. Baqai is by far the best doctor ever!!!! I was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer in January of 2018. It was a very scary diagnosis, especially since I have a 9 year old son. I have a HMO insurance plan so I had to go to the doctor my health plan referred me to and boy, did I ever hit the lottery! From the very first time I met Dr. Baqai she made me feel so comfortable and made the whole process so much easier and a lot less scary. I always felt in the best of hands. She is amazing at explaining everything to you and you never feel rushed. As a matter of fact, everyone at Compassionate Cancer Care is awesome. From the ladies in the front, to the wonderful ladies in the chemotherapy infusion room, to Dina, the PA. Everyone was nice and always patient with all the questions I had. In a million years I could not have hoped for a better doctor and support team. Thank you guys so much!!!!
My dad has been going to this office for over three years to treat his pancreatic cancer. Dr. Raowas has been great, his nurse, and front desk. Infusion staff has always gone above and beyond, Bri always calls to give us updates on lab results. So glad this was the office we decided to take my dad to!
The new patient coordinator Diana is very unprofessional and confrontational. I called this morning to reschedule an appointment because I have to take my grandmother to an emergency appointment. The very kind receptionist said I would not have to pay a fee and that she would have Diana help me reschedule once there system was back up. Diana called when the system was back up and acted as if she did not know why she was calling me. Then she insisted that I pay the fee that I was already told I would not have to pay. I also informed her that this morning I specifically asked about the fee and that I would have tried to make other arrangements if I had to pay. I am disabled and have a limited income. She told me I could take it up with the supervisor and ended the call. If I have to pay the fee I will find another office. I can’t afford to be subjected to fees in emergencies.
