We checked in on a Saturday and the man that checked us in was very nice and helpful. There was a wind storm so the pool was closed, but once it was cleaned up, it was a very nice area with a little putting area, bbq area, gas fireplace and hot tub. The park itself is very compact and crowded with full timers, so there's a lot of "stuff" in all the sights, so it makes the park a little less attractive. They don't have any overflow parking, so we were a little cramped in our spot. Over all, it's a good, clean, affordable place to stay.
I lived at this park for 6 years and I left with a shady experience. I never got my $50 electric deposit back. The owner told me it wasn't his to keep but I didn't get it back. That's a tank of gas. The owner claimed I threatened them. That was NEVER the case or my intention. I emailed Stacy twice and no response. I left on the 4th of the month and was NEVER explained why I couldn't get a partial refund verbally or on paper. If you stay here be super careful!!! Get everything in writing.
The restrict certain dog breeds, makes you wonder what “breed” of humans they would deny service too if they could get away with it. Their ideals come from the same brainwave as racism.
Road noise is horrible. There was always sirens going off and people hot rodding around. The spaces are small. The pool and hot tub were clean and family friendly but need redone badly. It's like sand paper on your feet. My biggest complaint is that they nickel and dime you for every little thing and charge the same rates as the way nicer rv resorts. Anything over 4 heart beats is $75 per heart beat. $25 for an extra car Charged extra for water/sewer and garbage The daily rate was $46 and our monthly rate was $920 +$50 deposit for electricity then another $60 electric bill. We stayed 5 1/2 weeks. Even though they advertise a way lower price with all their added fees we paid $1100 a month.
Convenient location. Aging facility about to get a major renovation. A little pricey for its age, plus pool and hot tub out of order.
The gal in the office was very welcoming and helpful. She was a real plus. The park only has gravel but is clean. The spaces are right on top of each other. Internet useless
Road noise is pretty constant. Ok place if your only purpose is to have a location to sleep at night. A few issues here: 1. Pool is closed and no notification of that anywhere on your reservation. Seems like it should be fixed quickly or the price should be altered to reflect the limited amenities. 2. Rigs can’t be more than 13 years old but the bathrooms look like they haven’t been renovated in 30+ years. Definitely need updating if that’s required of the Tenants also. 3. The bathrooms are used all night by people who don’t live or stay here. There were suspicious people in and out of the showers from 11pm-4am. Bathrooms were dirty in the morning with litter and things my kids shouldn’t have to deal with while taking a shower. Not very tight security. 4. Office closes at 4pm. No way to contact anyone after 4pm for issues overnight. Could be a very pleasant place if these issues were taken care of.
We were going to make a reservation for two weeks until I saw your disclaimer about not accepting RV's older than 13 years old. Our motorhome is newer than that but it shows the ignorance of the park that under no circumstances will 13 year old RV's be allowed. We travel in a club with beautiful high-end coaches that are up to 20 years old and your park would be lucky to have these coaches staying here. You are doing your business a disservice.
Pool and hot tub are still demolished. Discount should be reflected in out site fees. One bathroom/ladies and the laundry room next to that bathroom are not working. CONSTANT road noise!! Don't come during summer months...there's a LOUD raceway right across the street! It would be nice to sleep. No way to speak to staff after 4pm...and during open hrs if they step away from the phone. Can't make a same day reservation online...and can't get anyone on the phone. Stayed 1 night at a rest area because we couldn't speak to someone about getting a site 1 night early . Will not stay here again
Some really great changes have been made. Restroom/showers remodeled. Repairs have been and are be made to the pool and hot tub. A beautiful BBQ a and putting green added. Staff was friendly and helpful.
