I hardly ever post reviews since fast food is generally just fast food... You know what you're getting and to expect. Cookout is usually the same, like it's good and a good value. I wish I asked for the woman at the window's name so I could mention her here, but she was friendly, no rush, asked all the questions to make sure the order was right, then... Dun dun DUNNNNNN. Even asked if I wanted any sauces before I pulled to the window. Small things, right? But the friendliness and attention to detail was great. The fries were hot and loaded in the box, something cookout can kind of skimp on, sides. The big double was okay. The patties had the life cooked out of them lol a crust is good on thin patties, but not crunchy lol. Y'all do have to do better with that, but this is mainly for the woman at the window last night. Did a great job! Keep her and just make sure the burgers are as fresh as the fries and you guys would nail it.
Always love the food and atmosphere at Cook Out, especially when they're playing Christian music. Peaceful atmosphere. Wonderful BBQ plate and hush puppies and milkshakes. Great burgers and all the food is wonderful. Staff was so nice the last few times. Yummy food!Food: 5/5
I love the shakes here but the owner need to fix their speakers so they employees can do a better job. They have to ask everyone in the drive thru more than 4 times to repeat what we say and be hopeful you order was right. Not the employee problem the owner of the establishment needs to set their team for success.Food: 3/5
Food 4.67 stars, honestly where else are you going to get lunch for $7.42 with basically two mains and fries and a large drink! Cookout is it for fast "real" food. My only quarrel is like why do they give me a straw with my ice cream. Sorry my "shake" . It's thicker than a bowl of oatmeal. Don't get me wrong I love the thickums, but equip me with the proper tool available for the job. Don't hide behind a straw just admit your selling Ice cream in a drink cup and just give me the spoon.
I gave it two starts and that’s generous. It took 15 minutes to get our food. Literally all of the tables were dirty, the floor was dirty and when we did get our order, they forgot my daughters chicken nuggets. This place was great when they first opened but it’s gross now and we won’t be back.
The food is always good at Cook Out, and the prices are as well. This particular place was very... sticky, though. Every table we checked was sticky and we had to wipe down the one we finally settled on.Food: 5/5
Went to cookout last night and got a tray with fries. When I sat down to eat my food, I looked down and saw something in my fries, I picked it up and it was a piece of metal wire. When I took it to the counter the young guy told me “ oh that’s just a piece of the fryer basket, it happens”. This is not ok!! They didn’t even offer to refund my money. I called the corporate number and the district manager only offered to give me a free meal. What if I had small children, I would have just handed them the food and they would have eaten it. They then proceeded to tell me that they are replacing the baskets as they can afford too. Corporate needs to step their game up and help this location. I would leave zero stars if I could. THIS IS NOT OK!
Everytime I come here they screw up my order. Beef does not sound like cheese. The employees need to stop drinking the water here in Gloucester it's screwing with their ability to actually provide good customer service and get the customer what they ordered beef does not sound like cheese. If I could give no stars I would.
This restaurant is disgusting! Not a clean table to sit at. The floor has trash all over it, old food. Bathrooms.....ha. Won't even start with those. What a waste of time and money!Food: 1/5
