I wish I could have lingered longer to look around but it felt very awkward being the only one there in the middle of the day on a weekday. Bring a friend if you go. The employee's recommendation for pipe and tobacco was perfect. I'm quite pleased with what I purchased. Even if you're not a pipe smoker, this is worth the visit just for the history and cute location.
Stopped here on our drive through town and it was definitely worth it! Adorable little museum and awesome gift shop, everything is priced very reasonably. Large selection of tobacco and an awesome video is shown of how the pipes are made.
Really cool piece of American History in Washington, MO. Tons of interesting artifacts and super helpful staff.
Old building with great details. You don't see boards on the floor this big anymore. Nice selection of corncob pipes to purchase along with a large variety of tobacco with test cans so you can see quality and aroma. They also carried supplies to keep your pipes working properly.
I ordered my pipes and tobacco from them. The order was complete and on time. Since I live in Puerto Rico I was expecting some delays. But the order arrived on time. They have great quality of pipes, cigars and pipe tobacco. They have a wide variety of products and accessories for your pipes.
If you're a pipe smoker this is a must. If you're not a pipe smoker, it's still really cool. There weren't any tours of the factory, but they have a nice retail store with a nice selection of different style pipes. They also have a museum with lots of old photos and pipe collections. Mark Twain & Douglas Macarthur we're customers!
We were driving through Missouri on college visits and I stopped in. Always wanted to go and see the factory. The people fixed my mouth piece on my emerald for free. Bought a freehand and a pouch of American Patriot. Smoking it tonight at the hotel as I am typing. Pipe smokes like a champ and the tobacco is a tasty English. Might have to order some more. Thanks!
Missouri meerchaum makes high quality corn cob pipes that are cheap and reliable. I have never been to their store but am looking forward to visiting one day. Their customer service is also very helpful with any questions you may have about their products. Highly recommend buying some of their pipes and tobacco.
Excited to try them out!
Might I say without a doubt that the 2 gentleman I met were thee most helpful, amazing gentleman I have met. The collection of handmade pipes and pieces is one of the best. I believe I will be coming back to see you guys. It was an amazing experience and the "Mark Twain" tobacco I purchased is top notch delicious and very aromatic. Thank you.
