Nice enough place, super muddy in winter. Lots of puddles when it rains. My dog likes it. Could use some more shade and trees to help combat the mud. Other dog owners have been nice and it's fun to watch the dogs. Lots of homeless people. They mostly keep to themselves, but there's one or two that are mentally ill and start yelling at the air, which is unnerving.
Could be improved. Very muddy to the point it was difficult to enter. Trough full of stagnant dirty water for dogs to drink. Parts of a cut tree near it's stump laying in the park, breaking down and full of bugs. It has a lot of potential, but the trough is a bad water source. Recommend entering through and using the hose in the small dogs area if you can.
Corvallis Dog Park is a wonderful place to take your dogs. We are very lucky to have clean open spaces for our dogs to play. Lots of friendly dog owners too.
The Corvallis dog park has a large fenced main area as well as a smaller area for more timid, older, or less integrated dogs. Both areas have large tubs with hoses for water and plenty of room to use up your dog's energy.
Really glad they have the tub and water here. Great spot for my husky mix to cool off when I'm downtown on a hot day.
On a 6-week road trip around Oregon and our dog needed some off-leash time. We walked up and 2 dogs Bairn’s size immediately greeted him, entered the front holding area, and the three then ran off together and played effortlessly for an hour. It was as if our dog had found his long lost dog pack. And they invited him in and said, “Hey, come play with us!” They all had a great time! Great dogs and great owners!
This place is sad. Dead grass, large, open areas of dirt. Homeless encampments lining the fence. Disgusting water trough.
I love taking my dog Joe here . He starts howling and talking as soon as I hit the off ramp. He knows he's about to see his friends. There's fresh water and bags for waste and several picnic tables for us to relax at while our dogs play. Good spot
Fences in and there is available water but it creates a mud hole that the dogs love. Not recommended unless you don't mind your car a bit dirty.
Decent dog park, good watering hole, downtown location. Removed poisonous-to-dogs chestnut tree some time ago. Surrounding area a bit sketchy, but nice skatepark adjacent. When busy, altercations happen, but usually dealt with quickly. If your dog loves to roam, and is at least reasonably responsive to voice commands, MLK dog park across town is huge with a thirst quenching running stream
