Very pleased with the campground. Well kept and maintained. Great sites. Can't wait to go there again. Restroom and shower house was clean and heated. Highly recommend.
Beautiful location. Sites are not on top of each other. For Rv folks, water and sewage hookups on sites. Public bathrooms could use a little updating, we got spoiled by the shower/bath combo in NW Florida. Wildlife all over. Easy check in, clean grounds, nice folks running it. Will definitely go back!!
We love Cottonhill COE on Ft. Gaines, GA - spent this Thanksgiving 2021 there with wife and our friends. Our site was a pull through and handicapped accessible with a ramp from site to road and to the Bath house. We love Mr. Bobby & Mrs. Margaret they are both always so helpful.
Nice campground with clean bathhouse. Super nice couple that run the place. We saw several deer. The campground has 3 loops- Pine Island; Marina View and Old Mill Road. We stayed at site 17 Old Mill Road. We will never stay at this site again! Dead overgrown grass everywhere and no shade during the day. My first experience ever dealing with May flies! Yuck! There were millions of them at the back of our camper. They loved hanging out on the back of my camper. Apparently they were obsessed with the tree. You couldn’t even fish there because Everytime we would walk back there they would start flying around. Next time we will definitely pick the Pine Island Loop. In my opinion, it is nicer.
Very nice campground , beautiful views. Our site is perfect. Boat ramp is close by, small beach area in front. Our first time here, Ms. Brenda was very helpful and courteous. Will return.
This is my favorite campground. The layout of the camping spots allows you to look out your door and see the lake instead of another camper. Lots of space between camping spots. Beautiful and well maintained campground. Full hookups. All spots have a picnic table , grill, firepit and cooking prep table. We stayed seven nights in spot 76 during Thanksgiving week.
The staff was really amazing very friendly. We left for one afternoon to go whitewater rafting and they call to check on us. However day pass people seem to have zero respect for your own camping area and other guests like to yell at their kids at 6 a.m.
Wow! Is all I can say. This has to be one of the most relaxing places we have ever camped. Make sure you bring enough food because once you get here you're not going to want to leave.
Very nice place to camp. The fishing is great. They also have very clean bathrooms and showers. But the sunsets on the water are breathtaking.
Beautiful park, peaceful. Campsites are enough distance apart to have privacy and still meet fellow campers. Would love to come back.
