Lake Eufaula Campground

About

Lake Eufaula Campground invites you to stay with us when in southeast Alabama. Our secluded creek side campsites provide water access to Lake Eufaula.

"Our 46 acre family owned campground was purchased in the spring of 2013. As a family we have always enjoyed camping. We wanted to offer a place where everyone could relax and enjoy the outdoors. We are a mix of modern amenities and rustic charm with a commitment to personal service. Our project list continues to grow as we learn more about the various needs of our guests. We hope you enjoy your stay and look forward to providing a family friendly atmosphere that complements the beauty of Eufaula, the lake, and southeast Alabama."

Came as a family camping trip. Wonderful experience. Owners were super friendly and helped us with our campfire. Restrooms were always cleaned and nice. Pool was very clean and nice as well. No luck fishing in the ponds or lake but it was also Memorial Day weekend so a lot were out fishing and possibly over fished. However experience was great. Close tent camping spots but everyone camping was super nice. Will be back again!
We love love this RV park. Shady, quiet, private, peaceful and found the perfect site for the next two weeks. Certainly much better than the KOA in Forsyth, GA. Internet and cable are a plus, and they work! Pool is big and clean, even in mid-September. It feels safe here, police swing by routinely! Safety: Police presence as they round the community routinely! We have encountered only pleasant friendly people!
We had our own camper and did not use their cabins. Sites were pull thru and located minutes away from beautiful downtown Eufaula. Restrooms could use some work and both needed a cleaning.Service: 5/5
Not a 5 star luxury place but if you are looking for a quiet place to get your kids off video games and be kids then this is the place for you Ms Amy is awesome made us feel welcome and at home. Her and Mr Joey deserve 10+ stars .we had the best weekend thank y'all so much. The kids did say to recommend that y'all get a baseball goalRooms: 5/5
Heat and summer rains kept us from really exploring. Rails to trais... hiking/bike trail runs parallel to the campgrounds Was a pleasure to walk the dog. Managers are great. Really could use an infusion of visitors.Easy on and out off 82.fill with diesel before Cuthbert or west at Spookys in Midway.. Depending on your needs. Used generator and house air our entire 7 day trip in AUGUST HEAT ALERTS
We needed a place to rest for the night as we were traveling back to Florida from North Carolina. We found this place and it did the job for us as it was right off the main highway. They had full hook ups, a pool, and a gathering area. The lady on the phone was super nice and helpful. Sites could use a little work as far as leveling but other than that it was good!
Most of the camper's live here, which made it a different sort of campground. It's very quiet but a little trashy with older campers living on most of the sites. It is also not well maintained. The bathrooms are not very clean, and the sites are littered with trash from campers before. We are avid campers, and this was definitely not a traditional vacation camping spot. Playground: Pretty run down Restrooms: Dirty Dog-friendliness: Fine, no poo bags or enforced rules
Tent camping sites are pretty disappointing. Crowded back on a small bit of land surrounded by mud. We could not even reach water to fish anywhere with weeds. May be better if water was up, but extremely disappointed with the site and condition. We had a reservation but didn't even stay. After looking around we went to another camp site.
Nice place. Was peaceful. Pool was clean, bath houses were clean. Owner greeted us as we arrived and escorted us to our lot. They made rounds every morning and checked on guest. All other guests were polite and friendly. Only complaints I have is that the waterfront needs to be more well maintained. We didn't need to use the boat ramp but if we did I would have been almost impossible to use. Also there needs to be more shade at the dog park. But overall it was it was a nice and enjoyable place to stay. We will definitely stay there when we're back in the area.
We had an awesome stay. Everything worked perfectly. Only have 2 recommendations. Clean the public bathrooms more often and improve a little more the lots with gravel. Other than this it was an awesome experience and time. Restrooms: Restrooms are very nice. One of the best I have seen in a while. Only recommendation isq more cleaning trips during the week. Especially the male ground urinal.
