Courtyard Minneapolis Maple Grove/Arbor Lakes

Location is great...near every restaurant and mall/shopping. Front desk Service is great. Rooms are fine. I didnt have an issue. Bed was clean. Room needs a little updating in the bathroom but its ok. The carpet wasn't cleaned so well but that's really expected at most hotels. Room has fridge. Room does have a weird smell but that could be from the nasty carpet. There was a note on the thermostat that it was out of order and to use the manual buttons located on the AC unit near the window. Walls are thin in the room. I could hear people doing the deed in the middle of the night, my coworker heart kids screaming one night and had to complain to front desk. The breakfast cafe is the Starbucks located on thr first floor lobby. I will say, its a low quality breakfast for a Marriot I've ever had. Highly disappointed. Nothing tasted fresh and it costs an arm and a leg. The coffee tastes bad even tho its Starbucks brand and highly expensive. The Starbucks front lady doesnt look friendly but I think she is just looks like she has an attitude. We had $20 vouchers for breakfast and it was tough to stay under budget with 1 breakfast entree and 1 coffee. Thats sad. The bar is also expensive for drinks. One wine glass Kenwood Pinot Noir cost $18 with tax and all. Thats crazy cus it's not such an expensive bottle. They probably take advantage of the fact that there are a lot of companies that book these rooms for their employees and we have no choice but to eat and drink here. The space to drink near the bar was nice though, has a pool table, outdoor seating also available, fireplace. Safety: Area felt safe to me. Hotel felt safe. Walkability: Walkable to near restaurants and shopping malls. May have to cross the major road but its not a bad walk at all.

Room was ok needs updated. Had to call maintenance. Staff was dressed unprofessional some were rude. Great location. Outside needs major update hard to get suitcase over the bricks that are missing. No breakfast and the hours for food inconvenient.Rooms: 4/5

Sheila, Jill, and Norjean were very helpful during my family's stay at the hotel. Generally, the hotel was clean and quiet. The pool could maybe use a scrubbing based on the grime i noticed along the water line that was pretty gross. We'll be back!Rooms: 5/5

Jeannie the bartender at the hotel is amazing!! She was attentive and made an awesome espresso Martini! The Caesar dressing was great!

Very nice hotel with plenty of drinks and food options. Big rooms and clean.

Room and carpet were very damp when we arrived. There must have been a kids tournament happening while we were there because there were a lot of kids running around. Washing machine and dryer were free fantastic but the washer stopped mid rinse cycle and left the clothes very wet. Staff was pleasant. This Courtyard provides minimal Bonvoy perks compared to other Courtyards.

I would say that about 95% of the Marriott hotels I have stayed in have never disappointed! This being one of them, I only had one issue and that was with my mobile room key, which was easily fixed with a regular room key. However, my stay was amazing, the staff was friendly and the outdoor hot tub! Sitting in the hot tub when it's cold out, is amazing! There is shopping and restaurants in walking distance, there also is food and bar right in the lobby in case you just don't want to venture out! Definitely will stay again!

You're not going to get a complimentary breakfast, but dang probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in for the price! The room and hotel was the cleanest I've ever experienced, beautiful, spacious and updated. Outdoor hot tub is a plus and a cool first level bar. I could go on and on, simply spectacular!
