Crabapple Tavern

Started out strong - finished kind of meh. We met friends for dinner last night and they recommended CT to try something new. Our server was really super nice and attentive. The pour of wine and the pretzels were excellent - but from there it got kind of dicey. The restaurant got busy and I believe our server also got a large table of prom goers. I can’t fault her but she was struggling to keep up with all her tables. We also waited a long time for our food. When the food did arrive, my steak was lukewarm as was my buddy’s was as well. Not bad enough to send back but not exactly what we had hoped. I have no idea what we waited on or why multiple dishes were not hot. I may give this another shot - not sure.

Local hangout for local families. Big bar area with older Boomer crowd like me. Separate dining area with several nice roomy booths for big parties 8+. Outstanding cuisine with daily specials. Generous portions. Classics like French onion soup, peel and eat shrimp, creme Brullee. Nice Sunday brunch with Mimosas. Large outdoor seating. Every friend we bring comes back for more! Such a pleasant, relaxing, friendly place. Vegetarian options: Plenty for the veggiesauruses. Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome with a menu to boot. Parking: Plenty Wheelchair accessibility: Yup

Just moved to Milton a month ago and have already eaten here multiple times. This restaurant has the secret sauce of a successful tavern: friendly staff, excellent service, relaxing vibe, and all around phenomenal food. I usually stick to one or two menu items at other restaurants but here everything that's come from the kitchen has looked so delicious that I've had to venture out of my food comfort zone and try different dishes on subsequent visits: best french dip and french onion soup this side of France ;-, grouper sandwich was twice the size of the bun moist and flavorful, ahi app / sandwich cooked to perfection...all at a fair, reasonable price. Nothing not to love here, folks. Bypass downtown and make a beeline here. You'll be glad you did!

Food was ok. Service was fine. Smaller portions bowl of soup tiny. Luke warm when served. Sent to reheat and little better. Friend ended up sending it back for a third time. When it came back it looked like they had added water to top it off the color was no longer the same as my bowl of soup.. Just not a very good experience, but will give it another try. They were busy. .

First time eating dinner at this establishment, but it won't be the last! Great service, food was delicious and was served promptly - even though the place was packed! We enjoyed a Ruben sandwich with fries, a french dip sandwich with onion rings, and fried pickles. Onion rings were some of the best I've ever tasted.Food: 5/5

This is a true gem. The food is always good, fish & chips, sweet potato fries, clam chowder! Sunday brunch is fantastic. So happy we found such a great spot close to home.Food: 5/5

Great environment, sat outside our waitress was extremely attentive and took great care of us. We only had a few appetizers but the were really good.

While there is nothing fancy about this place, it has good food at a low price. Good service, free WiFi and a great Sunday brunch menu. We had a large crowd and the food came out quickly. Parking is a challenge. This is a great place for a casual meal with your family.

Consistently wonderful food. Menu has something for everyone. Very very good!! What can I say. This picture shows our plates totally clean. Fish tacos with Cowboy beans and Berry Cobbler w/coffee. Oh so good!
