Just wanted something real simple and this placed played it’s part for the night. It does seem to me this place is lacking good management because staff is all around the place and there is no organization. Me and some friends came here around 12am after work to order egg and hash browns. We stabbed in the lobby for 10 mins before anyone could ask whether we want it to dine in or take out. We got sat and didn’t get a server until 30 mins later. I ordered a appetizer sampler and two orders of 2x2x2 with sausage and one with bacon. Food didn’t take to long and was prepared right! Service was terrible but food was fantastic and really made up for things that night.
I shared a picture of the 2 butter packets that they gave us for our 3 orders of pancakes. I went inside to ask for extra and the lady seemed stressed and said she barely had enough for the kitchen. It wasn’t her fault but it sounds like the manager needs to be doing a better job keeping up with inventory and ordering something as necessary as butter for a pancake restaurant!!!! We had to stop by Waffle House and buy a waffle just to get enough butter to cover our IHOP meal! Props to WAFFLE HOUSE
Great food and quick service but was served by an annoyed waitress who was ready to go home but was forced to stay longer. The management needs to better manage their timings. It felt awkward as she would keep tapping her pen while we ordered and she couldn't wait for us to finish ordering the 5 items we wanted and was even annoyed when the payment machine was slow.
Hey so the waitress was very rude. First she did not attended me well. She was like I forgot you were here. Other waitress asked me for the drink after the long wait of 10 minutes. The Omelette I ordered was dry which I got like after 15 days. And then waitress who was supposed to attend me gave me the checque and forget about it. I waited for next 10 minutes and then I myself went to the counter and asked them to take the payment. Then also she said same thing that she forgot that I was here. And when I gave her 1 dollar as a tip she was like oh my god its terrible. I was literally standing there. The kind of service she has given me she dies not deserve a one dollar tip as well. I love Ihop when I was in Austin but here in Alpharetta its kind of disappointing.
Not sure how you run a 24-hour restaurant and not have key ingredients or enough staff available??? We've tried 2 times in the last month to eat here. The first time, there was no ice cream for milkshakes and no chicken tenders. How do you run out of those things? And the poor server was there by herself. We just tried to give it a second chance tonight and ended up walking out. This was NOT the server's fault - but she was the only one taking care of tables and there were 8 full when we arrived, just shy of midnight. She was buried. We ordered milkshakes again, only to find out the key ingredients were missing, again. And, it took 17 minutes for the only server to just take our drink order. We didn't plan to spend 2 hours on a late-night meal so we left. Does the owner not care about this brand? Does corporate have a connection here? I can't imagine there's a strong desire to have a reputation such as this. And, we've heard many stories from others on similar experiences. We're not going back.
Long story short. All was great until I was giving the server my card to pay and I spilled my cola. It went everywhere an on me also. I thought the server was going to get me some napkins. Waited and waited. She came back with my receipt and handed it to me with my hads still wet from the cola. Still didn't try to help nor get me napkins. I basically had to beg for some help. She brought me 4 napkins and the cola was on the table seat and floor also I'm wondering how long she let that stay there after I left. Geez
If you’ve been moving all day and really have the hankering for pancakes this is the place. For me, the eggs and bacon were overcooked - not burnt but a little too done. The pancakes were perfect. My wife enjoyed her whole meal - even the massive bowl of grits. It’s a decent place to eat - inexpensive and decent portions.
Everything here was very standard — nothing much above or below. Got seated quickly, drinks received quickly. The server was nice and gave time when needed. Had to wait for my milkshake it was morning and it hadn’t been taken out yet, no trouble. The food was as good as expected, though I do wish there was more of an even spread on my Poblano Omelette. All in all nothing to complain about, would bring the kids. Parking: A little limited, and it is narrow considering two vehicles. Kid-friendliness: Nothing to complain about. Servers are nice, patrons are well behaved, get the kids some pancakes!
Just got home from eating here on 8/25/23 at 8:30pm. I’m being specific hoping someone actually reads and responds to this. The place was empty…red flag #1. It took them 20 mins to cook our meal…we were the only ones there. The manager, female, was on FaceTime talking to friends. When she picked up her purple vape pen and took a hit, I knew it was time to go. I went to the front to pay as my server was lost and she doesn’t even look at me, but screams to my server “your guy is ready”. Now I see why the were dead on a Saturday evening. Food was ok, but we had to keep asking for things we ordered to be brought to us.
The building is in bad shape, but the food ranges from decent to good. Depending on who's cooking and who's in charge that day. Delivery has been missing items but inside has been better. Service is decent, not great, but it's just a diner. The family likes it so we will keep coming back.
