The store had some pretty cool Halloween stuff. What ever in the different holiday stuff smelled like an old lady's bathroom, was very strong and made me wish my sinuses didn't work. Chairs with no cushion really hurt people with Hank Hill Butt Syndrome HHBS for short. Other than those few things, the service and food is why I will return. Oh, and the lady at the counter that knows her bakeries.
Our first time to a Cracker Barrel, and we loved everything. Food, atmosphere, service and price was very good. Food: 4/5
Got the maple glazed chicken, loaded baked potato and macaroni and cheese. Everything was delicious. Service was good and the food was good.
Visited this location right before close and the staff were very responsive, fast and friendly. I ordered a absolutely delicious cream cheese stuffed pancakes. The pancakes were buttery and crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. It was interesting having a little candy and trinket store near the front. Highly recommended Parking: Huge parking space available. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp available from parking lot and the main dining area is spacious and flat.
I have eaten at Cracker Barrel a number of times in the past. Their food has diminished in quality steadily over the past several years. The latest visit will be my last. I had grilled chicken, that didn't have much flavor. Steamed broccoli, that was not steamed. Mashed potatoes that I could lift off the plate in one clump, with my fork. Service was ok at best. They won't last much longer if they don't get it together.
The store was very clean and decorated nicely. It's hard to figure out where the check-out line begins and ends when it's crowded. We had takeout, it was pretty good. The employees working the front and the girl who answers the phone and brings the orders out was very polite.Food: 4/5
My husband surprised me with a trip to Cracker Barrel for lunch. We haven't been since we moved to WV. Just as I remembered. I had the chicken and dumplings with carrots and fried apples as sides. The food was good, but a little saltier than I remembered. We browsed the gift shop, and they had many beautiful things for fall and Christmas.
Food was a expected but used to be way better. Our server was really good and she was very personable. Which for our family really well. She was fast getting our orders and getting food and drinks out to us. Could've been faster with tells etc but she was extremely busy so very understandable. Overall a good visit. And as for the store I could spend so much money there, so many pretty items.
The food did take a little longer than expected but it was worth the wait. Our server was a very polite young man, I wish I could remember his name.... anyway he stayed on top of our refills and was quick and efficient. However, the same can not be said for the cashiers when it was time to pay. They seemed very disorganized and were not friendly.
I’ve been to several Cracker Barrel’s and have always enjoyed that I could count on having the same positive experience no matter where I am in the US. This was the first time I’ve been very underwhelmed. The restaurant wasn’t as noticeably clean as other locations. I also noticed that other staff members did not speak to us arriving. Usually everyone is so welcoming and so this was noticeable. My husbands water was noticeably different from the rest of our groups. It tasted like what you would expect toilet water to taste like. When he asked for a new glass it thankfully tasted normal. I ordered a fried chicken salad with dill ranch as I was excited to have this from CB for weeks after fasting from meat and fried food and was looking forward to that dill dressing unfortunately they were out of fried tenders and the dressing. I understand this happens, I was just very disappointed. My salad was full of the hard lettuce that’s close to the core, The tomato’s looked like they were around a little too long, my husband’s ff tasted like fish, my kid’s chicken looked like it was smashed on the grill a bunch of times and she mentioned several times it tasted off My other kid was happy 100% with his meal. Our waitress was great, she was kind, attentive and represents CB in a positive light. We didn’t share all the complaints with her besides the water and how I was disappointed in the two things I was really looking forward to but I know and understand that these things were out of her hands and her tip reflected our appreciation for her. This could have been an off day , I have had several positive experiences at other locations and have had the bar set high. At this time I have no interest in going back to a CB. Kid-friendliness: Kid options Parking: Ample safe parking Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of room to accommodate
