Surprisingly great deals can be found here on closeout items and other items. Online order pickup is efficient and easy. If you use the Sears card you can shop during promos and get insane points to use towards other purchases. Staff is generally as helpful as possible.
I was there to pick up my sneakers I ordered online. My package was picked and ready in 5 minutes! I was amazed and happy because the gentleman was so nice, polite! I wish they wouldn't go out of business.
I thought I got a good deal on a patio table, and for $50, was asked if I'd like assembly and setup of the table. I thought that was fair for what would likely be an hour of my time. Delivery came, but they don't do assembly and setup for the table. After calling multiple numbers and trying to get in touch with someone, and being told there was no refund on delivery and assembly, I had to go out of my way to go back to the store and get a refund. I should know better than to shop at Sears these days - this is why Sears is going under, and why I won't miss them.
Honestly they emailed me rewards dollars so I bought some stuff online. The store was EMPTY... online orders are supposed to be within 5 minutes, and like I said, I was the only customer there. The guy who took care of it came out to see me in 2 min 45, confirmed my info, cleared the machine to show that it was completed, then left me to wait for another 10. But it LOOKS like it was only 2:45.... and then Sears wonders why its stores are empty....
Our salesman was very knowledgable. And we were treated very well. The appliance was not in stock and will be delivered to the house in a few days, no charge for delivery. I bought an appliance from lowes last year. It was not in stock and had to have it delivered too. I think this has become more common with large items.
It's a shame they're closing down the customer service was amazing. The clearance deals are absolutely baller. Levi's jeans for $30, tools are beyond cheap but they're running out. Go grab stuff at half price before the shelves are empty.
Tool department ONLY. Went to buy a cut off wheel, extension cord and snap ring pillers and was helped by a very nice girl, didn't catch her name. She assisted me in getting my cut off wheel from the lock box. If this review was about her she would have gotten 5 stars for being so helpful. I am also a tech student, so that means with the tech discount on tools I don't have to pay as much to start my career. She assisted as much as she could until a manager was needed. She went to get her manager then a grumpy old man came up and asked if we were being helped. He said I couldn't get my tech discount because not having my id card but I even showed him my tech card. Like the 1000 other times i have bought tools to start my career there, they scanned a tech discount sheet and i got the discount. This rude old man kept badgering me about how I couldn't get the discount. I walked out with out buying anything and spend 40 dollars less at home depot for about the same tools. I like craftsman but if I have to deal with this guy one more time I am done with Sears of Whitehall.
Amazing as always. I had a truly ome of a kind salesman named Johnny who sells Kenmore, he helped me buy a t-shirt and some other things in hardware. I don't think that was part of his area where he works, but he sure helped me and such great customer service.
I have called to a replacement part number and the guy hung up on me twice! So with that being said their customer reflects the fact that they shut down 90 percent of there stores! Without customers u have no business.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to buy anything. Store almost empty. But Sears is one of the best. I'm a customer for many years and I will be. The one visited today is closing. Bad news.
