I love Cracker Barrel for their country store alone! There are so many wonderful things to browse through while waiting for your meal! & my meal was delicious! I went for the sampler and tried the meatloaf and the country chicken. I got the gravy on the side and chose the mashed potatoes and the fried apples as my two sides.. Oh. My. Goodness. Those apples were amazing!! The chicken was surprisingly good. It paired wonderfully with the mashed potatoes and gravy. The meatloaf was also good. It is loaded with green peppers, and unfortunately, I am not a huge fan. I quickly tired of picking them out and ended up concentrating on the chicken... okay, okay, the apples! Yummyliciousness!! My friend ordered the chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes and Mac n' Cheese. They thought everything was great! My friend also had the cornbread, which they did not care for. But they thought the Biscuits were quite good. Of course I will be back! Even if just to browse through the store!
After previous bad experiences at different Cracker Barrel locations, this location provided a great experience. The food was delicious and waiter Lucas was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.Food: 5/5
The food is amazing with such a good home-made taste. The store is really cool but way over priced and honestly made me feel claustrophobic. It's a pretty busy restaurant so expect it to be kinda close quarters with everyone at all times. Kid-friendliness: They have checkers and little table games for kids to play and I'm pretty sure they handed out crayons and coloring sheets to the kids. Parking: They have a place for rvs and trailers to park as well. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair accessible entrance.
This is a very good Cracker Barrel , It's a REAL family restaurant " no alcohol " thanks for keeping family first! We don't go to any Cracker Barrel that sells alcohol, because we don't like the horrible bar experience that those have! I had a wonderful fried chicken dinner, with okra, mashed potatoes and gravy, along with a great salad, and yes the mouth watering biscuits with apple butter. Keep up the good work. My waitress was Abby, she is amazing ,so promt with service.
We had brunch this afternoon and overall it wasn't terrible. Our waitress, Trish, was amazing, despite being new to the restaurant and serving during the Sunday after church rush. The food, as always at Cracker Barrel, was on point. The issues that take my rating from 5 stars to 4 was with the front of the house service. When we arrived my husband put our name in and we were told that we'd have a 10-15 minute wait which we didn't mind. We window shopped the country store for 15-20 minutes and then made our way to the seating hostess. As we stood waiting, 2 families approached and were seated immediately which didn't set well with my husband. He said something to the hostess, who grabbed her boss, and they found a table for us very quickly. The next problem then was the table they brought us to, rather - under the table. Clearly the last people to sit at the table had young children given the amount of food that was on the floor under the table where I was to sit. It was so much so that I just couldn't do it - I could not bring myself to sit at a table with my feet in food and refuse. I got the manager, showed him the mess and he apologized & cleaned it up immediately. I was going to rate this location at a 3 because of the issues, but I remember seeing our waitress clearing tables which makes me think that they may have been short someone bussing tables.
The food was very good!! Hot and fresh. The restaurant was clean. Our waitress was friendly, once she came to the table. We sat there for almost 10 minutes before we were welcomed by her. It wasn’t because they were busy, either. I’m ok with “I’ll be with you in a moment” than to be totally ignored. This has happened to us several times at this location, always a different server, so we have started timing it when we sit down. Otherwise, a typical Cracker Barrel.
When ordering a pickup online on the website I selected my items and eventually got an error AT THE LAST STEP to submit my payment. I then called in my order and complained about the web site. Lady on the phone said the site was down and didn’t apologize. I decided to order on the phone. One of the items I ordered was the Skillet Sirloin Steak Sampler with my meat “medium well”. I picked it up and brought it home only to discover the sirloin was hard/tough/burnt. Absolutely awful! It was as hard as a hockey puck!!! See the picture and judge for yourself. Any cook who’d pay attention to what they’re doing would never serve this. Completely unacceptable! I wouldn’t even give this steak to my dog!
Just tried the Thursdays special turkey dinner and it was way better than I thought it would be. This is better than Thanksgiving dinner I had with my loser family. The sweet potato casserole has pecans in it and the okra is perfect. Even the turkey dressing is killer good.
The food is typical for chain restaurant and it's average. The general store they have is fantastic. Love the store. Specialty drinks are over priced. Chicken and dumplings not so good. Home style chicken awesome.
Always love Cracker Barrel!! Staff is super friendly and we love the ambiance of the country decor. Food is delicious and we hardly ever have any issues with how it’s cooked. We also love the little store area. So many cute and unique little things to choose from! Everything from clothing to jewelry, to candy and home decor! Something for everyone!!
