Yesterday I was in North Florida working and got a call from Creekside at 11 am instructing me to remove my RV by 8 PM or it would be towed. With a tropical storm warning the Owner didn't want to risk having to clean up his park again so he made everyone leave. I managed to get to the park by 730 and sure enough large tow trucks were in there pulling peoples RV out. Most everyone had gone. They locked the gate at 8 and started hooking up the unfortunate ones RVs. I was lucky I got there in time. This is probably one of the nastiest things I have seen anyone do to people for the sake of money. He did it to his customers. Enjoy the park when you come. Its is really nice. Beware the Owner!
Excellent visit at Creekside and we're headed back in January. The entire park is immaculate and well-maintained. Good size paved sites. Diane, the office staff, and Austin the park manager are friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning!Rooms: 5/5
Lovely RV resort, with a small gym, a pool, a hot tub, and 3 comfort stations with shower and laundry facilities as well as the restrooms. Gated community with a small pond catch and release fishing is allowed. Full hookups, electric is a separate charge, the other utilities are included in the lot rent.Service: 4/5
We have never stayed at or realized there was such a Remarkable Place as Creekside RV Resort. Our first and only Visit was Nov 2022 thru March 2023. Amazing how quick and well done were the Hurricane repairs. We were on a Premium Spot #95 and it is a Fantastic Site. 1/6th of an acre and nearly 140 ft. of water front where do you ever find that ??. I have complimented Dan a number of times on how well the Resort is run...quiet and rules that are emphasized. It is just a gorgeous Immaculate Facility and we were proud to be there when we had visitors a couple times. I am for real and have not exaggerated my Review. John Schubert.
Creekside is our home away from home. Fantastic staff, facilities and activities. Enjoy the Farmers market and the various food trucks. Enjoy spending time in the pool and hot tub. Great location for exploring SW Florida.
Creekside is a generally enjoyable place to be, do mainly to the folks that stay there and the location. The main issues we have include the Pickleball courts, which are great, but we need more. This problem will be greatly exacerbated by the additional spaces planned this summer. The relocation of the bocce ball, and/or shuffleboard courts relatively rarely used might solve this problem. Another issue has to do with the lawns, as they are in great need of maintenance. Our last issue has to do with some of the office staff, who could use some customer service training. They are not always pleasant to deal with. Other than these issues you asked we look forward to coming back for many winters to come.
Great RV Resort. This was our first time as RV’ers. Everyone was very friendly, neighbors & staff. Everyone was very helpful and made us feel at home. Had a great time.Location: 5/5
Beautiful facility and well kept grounds. The sites are all level and paved with paving tiles. Hook ups were top level and easy to access. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Considering our visit was just a few weeks after Hurricane Ian devastated the area, they were in great shape and very hospitable. We were visiting friends who live in the area and saw a lot of destruction. You wouldn't know it from Creekside's condition.
Creekside RV Resort is truly a RV Resort. The RV lots are spacious and paved. The entire property and facilities are very clean and neat. There are multiple comfort stations bathrooms, laundry located throughout the property. There is a pool and hot tub near the entrance of the park, along with a clubhouse that includes a gym. Lots of activities to participate in, farmer's market once a week, food trucks. The Punta Gorda airport is nearby, but we did not find it to be disruptive. Groceries and Walmart are nearby. Punta Gorda offers several amenities.
I have been to hundreds of parks and campgrounds, I'm not a snowbird, we looked for the nicest spot for an extended stay in the Punta Gorda area and chose Creekside for its immaculate care and spotlessly clean grounds and facilities. During our stay the area was struck by hurricane Ian and destroyed everything including our camper. The resort has a storm shelter and all campers were cared for by the staff, even though they themselves had lost everything. The staff could have left if they were just employees, everybody was treated like family. They made sure people were safe, and comfortable as possible in a difficult situation.
