Specialties
Savory crêpes using ingredients such as found in the coastal Mediterranean town markets. Sweet crêpes too. We offer both in gluten-free versions. You can also choose your own fillings; ask us to make something especially for you and we'll try our best. We try to stock special items our customers have requested and we're experimenting with new recipes all the time.
All coffees and teas are certified organic, shade grown and 100% Fair Trade, from family owned and operated roaster, Grounds for Change, in the Pacific Northwest. In our Confiture crêpes, we are proud to use all-natural jams and fruit spreads made locally by MoonShadows Farm in the Poconos; paired with whipped cream or sour cream YUM! Our smoothies are made with real fruit.
History
Established in 2014.
We love crêpes and our families have been making them since we were children; Seif's family from Tunisia in the French style called "galettes" and Vinci's family from Sicily where they are called "crespelle". When we travel to other cities and countries, we search out different recipes for crêpe batters and fillings. The business started simply from our cravings for great crêpes. So we set out to build a space with colors and decor reminiscent of the Mediterranean seaside communities familiar to us that would be a beautiful setting conducive to families, friends, and lovers for indulging in the beautiful crêpe together. Our team's mission at Crêpe Soleil is to revive the art of eating crêpes and to keep the focus on fresh, flavorful, and simple ingredients.
