Crossville Parks and Recreation Department

 In 1992 the City opened a 35 acre recreation park, now known as The Warner Complex at Centennial Park.
 In 2000, 22 additional acres were purchased, becoming The Turner Complex at Centennial Park, bringing total park acreage to 67.
 In 2007 a 16 acre adjoining parcel was purchased. This adjoining property has road frontage off of Genesis Road. It is currently undeveloped and brings the total acreage of the Centennial Park facility to approximately 83 acres.

Current facilities available at Centennial Park are:
4 lighted adult softball fields
3 lighted youth softball/baseball fields
1 lighted regulation baseball field
2 lighted tee ball/coach pitch fields
3 concessions/field house/restroom facilities
1 small independent restroom facility
4 lighted sand volleyball courts
4 lighted basketball ½ courts
2 lighted tennis/pickleball courts
lighted skatepark
24 concrete and clay horseshoe pits (12 under shelter)
2 lighted picnic shelters
dog park for small and large dogs
paved and lighted walking trail (approx. 1 ½ mile)
child’s play area with sand boxes
fully accessible playground
adequate parking

 In 2007 the City purchased a 40 acre parcel just off exit 317 off I-40. This property became the Dr. Carl T. Duer Sr. Soccer Complex.

Current facilities available at Duer Soccer Complex are:
lighted area for 6 regulation size or numerous smaller size soccer fields
concessions/field house with restrooms
2 covered shelters
adequate parking

 The Parks Department also maintains and utilizes Garrison Ball Park
Garrison Park opened back in the 1920’s. The City of Crossville has operated it since 1947. The Park used to be home to the Crossville Blues, a Semi-Pro team. Plans are underway to completely renovate Garrison Park. Included in the preliminary plan is renovation of the existing basketball court, installation of a splash pad and playground, restrooms, family picnic areas, a multi-purpose field sized for football and lots of green play space. There will be a paved walking trail weaving through the park as well.
