NOT HAPPY WITH ACCOMMODATIONS! I booked this hotel through Priceline. It was a great beachfront location, but that was about it. On the last day of our 4 day stay, my daughter noticed a bedbug crawling across her bed. I called management, they came to the room and took the bug. The manager on duty and the investigator they sent to document the incident tried to minimize the situation. Even though it was my first time seeing an actual bedbug, I've seen many pictures, including detailed reports on CDC website. The rooms were seriously outdated. The hotel smell damp throughout. The pool and everything outside closed around 6pm and there was virtually nothing to do but the small amount of casino games. All the table games were closed for the month and you could only get Wifi in the lobby unless you paid an additional 15.00 per day foe Wifi.
My vacation to Wyndham Nassau resort was from April 5 to April 8th. The resort was nice and the staff was very helpful. Our room was an oceanview which spoke volumes of beauty. My cousin and I witnessed a wedding on the beach and that was a start of our vacation stay which happened to be my cousins 30th birthday. The room is spacious and the tub was deep moreso jacuzzi styled so I suggest you're very careful stepping in and out of it. I just wish the room had a mini fridge or something to store our food and beverages. Also, there was no vending machines or washer and dryers. This is an amenity that I am used when traveling. However, we didn't witness any bed bugs as some did in the past. But overall, the resort is nice and is right next to the Sheraton and it was an OK resort for a short stay.
Always love this resort !!! Surely going back as soon as possible.. Beautiful view, awesome people just all around relaxing place to bury your feet in the sand...
We recently had quite the experience at your Wyndham Nassau Resort in Nassau Bahamas. Went onto the Wyndham web site to leave feedback, but it only allowed me 450 words which is far too few to even begin to explain our horrible experience. I do find it quite interesting that there is no actual contact e-mail on the site, but I am sure I have now figured out why. Let me just begin by saying we booked this hotel in early October, deciding to be away for Christmas for the first time ever. We were all so excited! We booked a "beautifully" pictured two bedroom penthouse at the resort from December 20-27th. Upon our arrival we were put in a one bedroom penthouse that was just very mediocre! This was after we were led around by a bellboy to two different floors and several different hallways, with about 10 pieces of luggage. After numerous phone calls and over an hour of waiting we were finally led to a two bedroom penthouse. We were initially excited, only to realize that the temperature in the "penthouse was 89 degrees, and the air conditioner was not working at all. Once again we called down to the front desk, and once again we waited and waited for our air to be fixed. A maintenance man finally arrived and said within a few minutes it will start to cool, needless to say that never happened. After a long day of travel one of my daughters wanted to wash her face and brush her teeth......but low and behold there was no water in the bathroom sink or shower. Again we call down, and the response we received this time was almost hysterical......as she told us "the water is on it's way up"! Frustrated beyond belief at that point I called the front desk once more and asked a manager to come to the room. Again after another long wait and the first 3 hours of our family vacation wasted, a manager appeared at the door. She was very calm and not surprise one bit by any of the above mentioned issues. She asked me what she could do to make this better. We said put us in another penthouse suite, because at $765.00 per night this wasn't working for us! At that time she said that was all they had available. She then however told us that Wyndham was linked with the Sheraton right next door and that there was availability. So now with our afternoon wasted we were moving to another hotel, and not a single bellman helped us do it! Whenever I used to hear the name Wyndham I had always associated it with a classy, luxury hotel where service was given with a smile and an automatic amenity, I will never again think or believe that and I will sure let everyone I know how horrible our experience was. I will sure hope that this email receives some type of response and that it will be forwarded to upper management within your company. Who know that department is probably overwhelmed with emails just like this and it may be years if ever I receive a response.
Worst resort ever.. booked this place but they pushed us over to melia... Service was poor.. everything closes at 1-2. Room service stops at 11pm. A lot of things bout wyndham sucks and melia sucks... I wouldn't even come back here if it was under 500$
Great resort and had a good time on my vacation! I recommend the ocean view room. It has the best view of the turquoise waters!
When we went they were still working on the building but they had rented out some spaces to some timeshare company with hard pitches. It was not a fun experience and the place seemed unclean.
Terrible service everything in the resort didn't work had to switch rooms because our shower was clogged and the water was coming out brown
Food is ok, entertainment is so so, service is not great.
Definitely a great place for any one budget minded!
