ESRA at CSULB is a student organization that has a focus point to further the knowledge base of the student body by conducting research and constructing experimental sounding rockets.
California State University Long Beach's Experimental Sounding Rocket Association or for short, CSULB-ESRA, is a club dedicated to building rockets that compete in the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition or IREC. We aim to design, build, improve, and launch rockets to either 10,000 or 25,000 feet. We encourage all students of different disciplines to come and work with us to achieve a rocket that is most efficient and effective when achieving our goals. We hope to encourage not only the teachings of how to make and trouble shoot launch vehicles, in-specific, Rockets, but to also give experience to others in a team-oriented field, in the hopes that we all succeed in our careers' later. We all believe that space is the new frontier and we hope to achieve our goals to arrive and explore space by building the vehicles that can help us achieve this task.
