Waited over 2 hours with my husband. His appointment was at 12:30pm I think she took a lunch break. Why would you schedule patients while you are on break
She is very competent and nice. She asked questions and interacted very professionally. It's only my first visit but I found it to be very good!
I did have a horribly long wait, but she came in apologizing profusely. I was pleased with her bedside manner and how I was asked a lot of questions and she wanted my input. I was a little worried from the other Google reviews, but she seems very patient and willing to help me learn and understand what is going on with my health. I would definitely recommend her. Also, they seem to have a cancellation list to get in sooner even if your original scheduled appointment is further out, which was great for a worrier like me!
Dr Amanda Cunningham has been my ENT Dr since 2017 when I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Every since I have my 6 months follow up. Just recently in September of this year my thyroglobulin levels were high which indicates disease is present. Dr Amanda as I like to refer to her immediately took action. Did necessary testing, treatment, and more tests. During all of this I was frightened that the cancer may have returned. Dr Amanda, in her manner, and tone was SO COMFORTING! Assuring me she was going to take very good care of me. She kept in touch and explained everything. It made all the difference. Her nurse Crystal did a great job as well by keeping me updated. Words can’t express my gratitude to Dr Amanda Cunningham for holding my hand and hugging mefiguratively through this health scare. Thanks to her staff also for being there for the patients during these dire days.
This Doctor has the Medical Ethics and Compassion of a hit and run driver! Goes against manufacturer's warnings and precautions, FDA and Surgent Generals recommendations. She and her staff are uneducated about the drug's she prescribes. Left me unable to walk without a cane for 1 and a half years. The drug's could have shut kidneys down leading to death.
Literally the most condescending & uncaring doctor I have ever seen in my life. She goes strictly by lab numbers & does not care how you are feeling at all. All of your symptoms will be due to some other cause....never mind that they all started when she changed your dosage -- you're just getting older! She makes it clear in the way she talks that she thinks everyone without MD after their name is just stupid & not worth her time. I think I saw her for annual checkups about four years. One the first several visits, she did talk to me like I'm stupid, but I didn't care because she got my dosage right. Then she started lowering my dosage until I felt awful. When I told her the symptoms I was having, I found out that this doctor really does not like to be questioned.
All she cares about is prescribing the most expensive meds to get her kick-backs. She does not care about how you feel, and she doesn’t view people as individuals. She wouldn’t even recheck any of my levels after I had three kids saying conversion rates don’t change with age or physiological changes. I wanted her to check my t4 to t3 conversion rate, and she wouldn’t. I’m so glad I went to another doctor. I feel so much better on natural dessicated thyroid and have lost 50 lbs. BUT NO THANKS TO HER. She has no sense. The medical community really brainwashed her to stay in her box. You can tell she doesn’t stay up on current thyroid issues or listen to her poor patients.
I was very pleased with how hands on she was. She's explained everything thoroughly. I did have to wait a long time my appointment was at 11:30 it was after 1:30 but once I got back she came in and every thing went very quick and she explained everything she did and why. I would definitely refer her.
I went to this office 8 months ago and was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroid Disease .Since then i go in every 6 weeks for a blood test to see where my levels are . I have had my medicine adjusted 4 times . I have asked many times to talk to Amanda and i am told to talk to her nurse and that i would see the doc on my yearly Appointment . I feel when a patient is told they have a Thyroid the doc should be able to answer questions and make a appointment for the patient sooner then a year . I go back in November to get blood checked. I am looking to get a 2nd opinion . I haven't felt good since i have been on the meds, thanks
if i could have gave her NO stars i would have. I went to have my levels drawn for my thyroid condition to make sure the meds i am taking is working and i got a whole lot more. I was insulted within the first 10 mins of her being in the room. she stated that i am not one of the that can eat and eat and not gain any weight. she also stated that i have pre-diabetic and i have PCOS and no blood was drawn. that was her observation just by looking at me. I paid her 275.00 to insult me in front of my daughter who is 4 and thank God she was cutting up and i needed to calm her down cause i would have told DR Cunningham what i think of her Burger King degree. I will not be going back there and i advise any one looking for an endocrinologist to beware.
