He is very thorough when it comes to your health. He has called me in the evenings and Saturdays, when his office is closed, to go over test results tests with me. What doctor does that?! This one does. His staff is friendly and attentive. Dr Chang always receives the messages I have left for him and responds quickly. I am so happy I chose him as my primary care doctor when I moved to this area.
Chang brushed our father off even though he has edema, shortness of breath, weakness, and has fallen several times. He let my dad leave his office with a 94% oxygen level!!! With NO treatment plan!!! My dad was admitted to the hospital 4 days ago with Congestive heart failure, emphysema, and acute respiratory failure!! Change didn't notice that a month ago?!?! I'll be filing a suit against this man. If you have had a similar experience start by calling this number before Chang harms anyone else: call Eight hundred two, two, seven, seventy three zero eight. Chang has been my dad's physician for 30 years!! He should have known better!
Office does not answer the phone, have the option to leave a voicemail, nor respond to MyChart messages. I have been going to this practice for over 10 years, and I have often had an issue with being seen or responded to in a timely manner. I have been trying to reach his office for 4 days as of today, and I cannot get an answer. I would not recommend this practice to anyone who is prone to viral infections or need for urgent prescriptions. Also, since Covid 19 has been an issue, I have not been able to be seen whatsoever without providing a negative test result first even if there are no symptoms or reason for concern.
I love Dr.chang. He is the first primary care physician I’ve seen who really demonstrates how much he cares about the patient's health and future. Most doctors only ask why are you there and nothing else. Dr. Chang is by far the best primary care doctor I’ve had. With recent insurance changes, our insurance prefers Methodist doctors over baptist doctors. I have no problem paying double my premium just to be able to keep Dr.Chang. He’s worth it!
